Camellia Institute of Technology

Students are prepared for the corporate sector through the Training & Placement Cell of the Institute. The cell focuses on equipping students with industry-required skills & knowledge and enhances their employability potential so that they can secure attractive job offers through the Camellia Institute of Technology Placement drives.

A wide range of placement activities are organised by the cell to sharpen the skills of the students; some of these activities are listed below:

The Institute has strong industrial linkages with leading corporate companies like IBM, Genpact, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Hexaware Technologies, and the list continues with many others.

The campus of the Institute is developed on around 17 acres of land area and has a lush green environment. Various classrooms & tutorial rooms are present at Camellia Institute of Technology Campus to provide numerous academic spaces to the students. Out of these, around 3 are smart classrooms containing projectors & other multi-media devices.

Following pointers includes the details about the campus facilities that are provided by the Institute:

• Library: A ‘Ranganathan Central Library’ is present in the ‘Amartya’ block of the Institute. Educational materials like books, printed journals, newspapers, magazines, etc. are present for the students in the library and the reading room is there for an uninterrupted study environment. For advanced educational & research purposes, students can use the digital library to access the online resources, databases, and platforms.
  Domain-specific information can be accessed through the departmental libraries that are there at the campus.
• Laboratories: The digital divide gap is reduced by providing a requisite number of computer centre & labs to the students at the campus. Other than that, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, and others have established fully-equipped labs to ensure that students can get both a theoretical & practical learning environment at the Institute.

• Seminar Hall: Educational meetings, presentations, seminars, expert talks, etc. are conducted within the seminar hall that has a seating arrangement for more than 150 students. The hall is equipped with projector, AC, and requisite audio-visual aids.
• Cafeteria: Students can have quick refreshments like snacks & beverages from the cafeteria i.e., ‘Kathleen’ & canteen. The cafeteria has a seating capacity for more than 60 students.
• Hostels: On-campus Camellia Institute of Technology Hostel facility is available for male & female students. There are around 34 rooms in total in the boys & girls hostels and they are equipped with basic amenities. Students get mess and other required facilities in the residential premises.
• Sports: Students can play numerous indoor (Carrom, Chess, Table-Tennis, etc.) and outdoor (Football, Cricket, Badminton & others) games at the campus. Also, required facilities like sports grounds and courts are built in the campus for these games. The Institute organises sports events for the students on an annual basis and it helps in their overall development.
• Transportation: Several buses are owned by the Institute to help students commute from the specified pickup locations to the campus.
• Healthcare Facilities: In case of minor injury, students can avail the first-aid facility that is present at the campus. Also, the Institute has tie-ups with nearby pharmacists and medical officers for emergency cases. Besides this, students are sent to the nearby hospitals to treat the major injuries or illness.
• Other Facilities: Board Room, Common Room, and other such amenities.
