The ‘Training and Placement (T&P) Cell / Department’, also known as the ‘Corporate Resource Centre’ of the Koshys Institute of Management Studies helps the students in identifying their strengths & weaknesses and in choosing the right career path. For that, the cell conducts mock interviews, industrial visits, guest lectures, brainstorming sessions, seminars, and workshops, to name a few.

The cell at Koshys Institute of Management Studies invites various companies for the placement drives so that students can appear for the interview and secure the desired job role. Some of the prominent recruiters that participate in the Koshys Institute of Management Studies placement drives are Aditya Birla Capital, IBM, Infosys, Tata, Reliance Industries, and Flipkart that offer attractive salary packages and Internship opportunities to the students. In the academic year 2024-25, the highest package offered to the students is 9 LPA.

• Step 1: When the academic year starts, the T&P Cell conducts aptitude tests / guides the students to prepare their career plan.
• Step 2: Students who wish to participate in the Institute’s placement drives can appear for the aforementioned activity; along with this, they can submit their company choices in which they wish to secure a job role in.
• Step 3: After registration, the cell sends invitations to the prospective companies & organisations, and also accepts requests from them.
• Step 4: The requisite details about the registered students of the final year from different Koshys Institute of Management Studies Courses are then shared with the companies.
• Step 5: The visiting companies confirm their participation in the job fairs and a date is finalised mutually for conducting the campus interviews.
• Step 6: The companies organises a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT). After this, it conducts the requisite test / group discussion, as applicable, to shortlist the students.
• Step 7: Selected students have to then appear for the interview. If required, interviews can also be arranged through telephone or video conferencing.
