The AM Jain College (AMJC) is located at Meenabakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It has an eco-friendly campus and has 6 academic and non-academic blocks namely Annex, Gyan Bhavan, Kumbhat, Sardarmal Chordia, etc. with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The College has modern architecture which is also inclusive and beneficial to physically challenged students.
The AM Jain College is spread across approximately 40 acres of land and has a built up area of around 33,188 square meters. Students are provided with various academic and non-academic amenities at the AM Jain College campus such as Wi-Fi connectivity, e-classrooms, library, sports grounds, hostel, medical facilities, gymnasium, parking facilities, and others.
The College offers all the required facilities to the students with an engaging learning atmosphere. There are around 155 classrooms at the College which are spacious, ventilated, and fully-equipped with multimedia facilities like overhead projectors and others to facilitate digital learning to the students.
Additionally, there is an air-conditioned auditorium having a seating capacity of around 1300 students which is named ‘Bhagwan Mahaveer Gyan Bhavan’. Various other infrastructural facilities such as conference hall, seminar halls, etc. are also available for the students.
At the campus, a conference hall with ICT facilities is available which is developed on a 595 square feet area and can accommodate around 30 students. In addition to this, 3 seminar halls namely, ‘Shri.Parasmal Chordia Seminar Hall’, ‘Annex Seminar Hall’, and ‘Viscom Seminar Hall’ are present at the campus with a seating space of around 100 to 135 students.
Furthermore, the AM Jain College campus has adequate facilities like lifts, wheel chairs, ramps, etc. for the differently-abled students, making the environment of the campus more friendly and inclusive.

- Library: The AMJC library is built over 18,000 sq. ft. and has around 42,000 books, 160+ journals and magazines, around 11 daily newspapers, and several other resources. Moreover, the library is technologically advanced with a RFID system with Wi-Fi connectivity and has a reading room with around 5 stock rooms and a reference section.
Moreover, there is a digital library that has around 40 computers which provides access to approximately 1,95,809 N-list e-books and other resources. Furthermore, a Self-Service Kiosk, ISmart Shelf, Smart Book Drop Box, and several other advanced facilities are available for students.
- Laboratories: The College consists of around 12 computer labs which are equipped with 816+ computers that are connected with Wi-Fi. Several other laboratories are also present such as Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Psychology Lab, Visual Communication Lab, etc. with advanced resources to offer students engaging learning experience.
- Sports: The College campus has different indoor & outdoor sports facilities to maintain their students’ physical & mental well-being. It has ‘Padma Shri Mohanmull Chordia Indoor Stadium’ built on an area of about 11,250 square feet which has a Basketball Court and Badminton Court. The campus also has Open Playgrounds, Courts for sports like Football, Handball, Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and more.
- Hostels: At the AMJC Chennai campus, separate residential facilities are offered to male and female students on a triple sharing basis. The boys' hostel has an accommodation capacity of around 236 students and 72 students can reside in the girls’ hostel. Furthermore, various required amenities are provided at AM Jain College Hostel such as AC and Non-AC rooms, separate mess, a recreational hall, indoor sports, reading room, and many others.
- Food Court: There are around 3 multi-cuisine food courts that cater to the food needs of students. The ambience of the food court is warm and welcoming and it serves various nutritious meals at subsidised prices to ensure that students stay healthy.
- Medical Facilities: At the AM Jain College campus, there is a dedicated health centre named ‘Dhanvantri’. It provides various medical facilities like consultation, first-aid, prompt response to health emergencies, coordination of health camps, and vaccination drives to the students.
