Bejoy Narayan Mahavidyalaya, set up in 1950 and is situated in the Hooghly (West Bengal) region. When it was founded, it was under Calcutta University (1950-1957). But in present it is associated with Burdwan University. The admission process is very crystal clear here. After submitting result, the college authority publishes a list .The list contains the marks of the student ranking wise. The students who achieve the highest marks grab the first seat. And the process continues like this until the last seat. If a department has 60 seats, the authority only permit 60 students. There is no chance of seat enhancement.
