Poornima University Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Jaipur

There are separate Poornima University hostel blocks for male and female students which are known as ‘Gargi Girls’ Hostel’ and ‘Himalaya Boys’ Hostels’. Also, approximately 1798 students outstation students of the Poornima University have an option to choose 1, 2, and other seater rooms with common & attached washroom in various options like AC, Non-AC, and air-cooling.

For availing the residential facilities offered by the University, students are required to make a payment of the prescribed charges which are different according to the room type.

The Poornima University hostel fees for twin sharing rooms available in different options are given below:

* For rooms with attached toilet, geyser, balcony available at Gargi Girls’ Hostel 2 and Himalaya Boys’ Hostels 3 & 4, University charges Rs. 1,60,000/- for 10 months.

• Activities like ragging, theft, etc. are strictly banned inside the University’s hostels.
• Consumption or distribution of intoxicating substances like cigarettes, alcohol, and others are forbidden at the accommodations.
• All the residents need to be present at their respective hostels during the roll call.
• It is mandatory for the students to maintain a peaceful environment during study hours so that other hostellers can concentrate on their studies.
• Students are not permitted to change their allotted room without prior permission of the wardens.
• Prior permission from the wardens is required to leave the on-campus hostels for an overnight stay.
• Damaging any of the hostel property is not allowed.

The University has on-campus hostel complexes with essential facilities for nearly 1798 students. At the Poornima University Campus, the male residential block, also called Himalaya Boys’ Hostel’ comprises multiple buildings. Whereas, for girls, there is a multi-storied ‘Gargi Girls Hostel’.

At the Poornima University hostels, about 896 AC, Non-AC & air-cooled rooms are present in different occupancies like single, double, and others. For comfort & convenience of the students, the hostels are furnished with individual rooms, chairs, tables, cupboards, and other facilities.

Essential first aid facilities are available at each hostel of the University to provide immediate healthcare attention to the hostellers. Aside from this, on-call ambulance services are available to offer specialised care to the students. Wardens & other in-charges are available to fulfill daily life requirements of the students.

For the entertainment of the students, there is an indoor sports zone, required amenities for Foosball, TT, Pool, Squash, and other games are available. Other than this, outdoor sports grounds & common areas are also available for the students. A gymnasium is available for the students as well.

To provide Poornima University hostel food facilities, a clean and sanitary mess with a dining area is present near to the residential complex & it operates on self-service mode. Here, students get nutritious & balanced meals 4 times a day like Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Refreshments, and Dinner. Also, only vegetarian meals are offered at the mess.

The staff and other in-charges are appointed to ensure that the food provided to the hostellers is being prepared under hygienic conditions. Students can also enjoy other refreshment and snack options at the University’s canteen.
