Datta Meghe College of Engineering Airoli Navi Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus size is medium. The seating capacity of each class is 70 to 80. It has library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, etc. The canteen food is average. My favorite place in the college is the college lobby and library.

The overall campus life is nice in the campus. There is very huge crowd here. There are many clubs. Extracurricular activities are organized in the college. The biggest fest is Milestone. My experience about college campus life is good.Read Full Review

Infrastructure of our college is not that great. Classrooms are huge but the fans are not properly placed that everyone could get the air. Ventilation in the classroom is good. Washrooms here are so bad they do have servants for cleaning but they don’t do their job properly. The water in the washroom is always dirty. But, they do provide drinking water on every floor. DMCE has two buildings, the old one and the new one. So, the new building is good till now and third building is in progress.

DMCE doesn't have campus just a tall building and nothing at all. For campus we only have corridor and compound of the building. They have underground parking for students and faculty. Canteen is worst only during inspection they hire canteen staff after that the canteen doesn't even serves edible food so canteen is not that good. Every branch organises fest or events and every year a tech fest is organised. They provide workshops for abroad education for which they get paid. Also, some educational workshops in which entrepreneur are invited to encourage the students are organised. Sports day happens which is good.Read Full Review

A new building is there, which is for the degree students. The college also had a diploma course a few years back, which is now closed. So they had a separate building that is now being razed. Another new building is being constructed to facilitate the degree students in a smooth way. So in the coming years, there will be two buildings for degree students. Each building will have 3 branches each. The older building has the principal's office. There is a small canteen on the first floor. Besides the canteen is a gym. But students need to pay extra from the college fees to use the gym. It is air conditioned and has good equipment and trainers. The classrooms are very large and have big windows for ventilation. There are projectors in every class. The labs are also big enough to fit 30 to 40 student batch. The computers have a very high speed wi-fi available. The campus is not much big but has an upcoming play ground near it.

Many events keep happening in the college throughout the year. The main fests are held in the month of March. There are sports competitions, dance and fashion show. There is also a singing competition and street play act. Some of the well known Marathi celebrities come in these events and sometimes also for their movie promotions. The Ganpati festival is held in full swing here. Everyone is excited for it. All the festivals like Holi, Maharashtra Day, Marathi Day and Diwali is celebrated in the college premises. There are 4 to 5 clubs. They are entrepreneur cell, dance club, coding club and some others. Students enjoy to be in these clubs as these help them in managerial skills and upgrade their communication skill set. There is also a Dhol Tasha Day on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birthday.
