Bengal School of Technology and Management Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

BITM (Bengal Institute of Technology & Management) is a relatively new college but in short time have made its mark among the top colleges. The college was established in the year 2009 and has average infrastructure in comparison to its peers. The way to get admission for BBA in this college is your 12th results. The cut off during our time was 78% and it will only increase with time. Since the course was introduced in 2011 and therefore the cut-off as now is relatively low. It’s among the top 50 engineering college in the state and therefore you need to score well only then you can get the admission. For BBA though one can say that it is an unknown commodity as this college introduced BBA later and that is the reason why cut-off is less. Even cut-off is just a formality as back door entries are easily available that is if you can afford that.

This was certainly not my first choice college but I was satisfied with the competitive environment, faculty and what I have noticed is around 40-50% of people get placed as well. I am still studying and not worried about that as of now as I might go for higher studies. Talking about other factors of the college, the campus is beautiful, the students come from decent families and the environment is overall good. The college is located far off from hustle and bustle and therefore one can study peacefully here. Also the college has also the basic facilities and infrastructure too is equipped. The only problem that I had was the uniform. I mean who wears uniform in a college but sadly our college students compulsorily have to wear it. In all the college is decent and to be honest if you have nowhere else to go you can join this college.Read Full Review
