G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS), Hyderabad has a meticulously designed infrastructure and comprises adequate modern facilities to offer students an optimal learning environment. Moreover, there are amenities including ramps, elevators, etc. at the premises of the Institute to make it accessible for the differently-able people.
The GNITS Hyderabad is developed across a sprawling land of about 12.5 acres and has a built-up area of around 38,683 square meters. Moreover, students can avail a number of facilities at the campus including classrooms, hostels, transport, healthcare, sports, cafeteria, etc.
The GNITS Hyderabad campus houses several kinds of academic and non-academic resources which help students spend a vibrant and comfortable academic life. At the premises, there are around 55 classrooms / tutorial rooms having an accommodation capacity of about 70 to 75 students, fully-equipped with smart-boards, LCD projectors, internet connectivity, etc.
Moreover, a number of cultural events and functions are organised in the open auditorium and the ICT-enabled main seminar hall which can accommodate nearly 320 students. Furthermore, about 7 departmental seminar halls are present with all the necessary digital devices.
In addition to this, 2 drawing halls, Wi-Fi connectivity, round-the-clock security, fire safety water tanks, etc are available for the students at the Institute’s premises.

- Library: The GNITS Hyderabad campus contains a central library which covers an area of around 15,044 square feet and has a collection of diverse range of resources. Additionally, at the library students can access about 9853 titles, nearly 47,121 volumes, around 841 back volumes, approximately 125 print journals, and many more. Moreover, about 6 departmental libraries are available.
Along with the physical resources a digital library is also present at the premises which contain about 30 computers & a multitude of e-resources. Furthermore, the other facilities include 2 discussion rooms, a reading room having a capacity of 250 students, reprography, etc.
- Laboratories: There are over 4 computer centres present at the campus of the Institute each covering an area of 400 square meters. Moreover, about 65 laboratories are present in various departments of the Institute; including Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Telematics Engineering, etc.
For the purpose of conducting experiments, departmental laboratories such as Analog Circuits lab, Computer Networks & Programming lab, Simulation and Microcontrollers lab, and others are there at the campus.
- Sports: The top-notch outdoor and indoor sports facilities present at the GNITS Hyderabad campus help students learn various sporting skills. Additionally, the outdoor amenities at the campus features Volleyball Court, a Throw Ball Court, a Handball Court, Basketball Court, Kho-Kho Ground, and Kabaddi Ground.
In addition to this, students who are interested to learn and play indoor sports can avail amenities like Carom Boards, Table Tennis Tables, Chess Board, and Badminton Court.
- Hostel: Female students can comfortably reside inside the GNITS Hyderabad Hostels which contains around 218 rooms with a seating capacity of nearly 1037 students. Moreover, the AC and Non-Ac hostel rooms are available with and without attached bathrooms. Additionally, study tables, cots, cupboards, and other basic amenities are present in the rooms.
Furthermore, a mess, sports facilities, health centre, and round-the-clock security can be availed by the hostellers.
- Cafeteria: There are 2 cafeterias present at the Institute’s premises which facilitate students with healthy, nutritious savory and sweet snacks. Moreover, various types of hot & cold beverages are offered to the students.
- Transportation: A number of buses are available at the premises and the transportation committee ensures students commute hassle-free from the campus of the Institute to their native places.
