Formerly known as Anurag Group of Institutions, Anurag University started its operations in the year 2020 under the aegis of Gayatri Educational and Cultural Trust. The University is located in Hyderabad, Telangana and is approved by UGC & AICTE. It is also recognised by PCI and accredited by NAAC & National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The University runs around 6 Schools in their campus which includes School of Engineering, School of Management, School of Medical Sciences, School of Nursing, and others. In addition to this, each school has various departments under them.

* Students applying at the University through Anurag CET / General category (TSEAPCET) need to qualify separate eligibility conditions with qualifying marks.

Admission Process
The admission forms of the University are available in online mode and interested students can fill the same through its official website.
The Institution fills the seats in the courses on the basis of previously qualified exams score / Anurag CET / State or National level entrance test. After merit, the admissions will be done on the basis of counseling done by the University or the concerned Government authorities.
*The University accepts applications from NRI / Foreign category students as well. Students belonging from this category need to check the eligibility criteria of the courses, fees, and admission procedure as it differs from others.
Reservation Criteria
As per the University’s guidelines, 25% of the seats in the respective programs are reserved for the students who are Telangana natives.
* Students whose parents have either born or worked in Telangana State for at least 2 years will be considered.

Meritorious students studying at the University can apply for Merit Scholarships which are offered on the basis of rank secured by the students in numerous categories. In addition, students who are eligible for the scholarship get some monetary amount.

In addition, the University also provides scholarships to the students belonging to the socially backward section. In order to avail the scholarship, students need to maintain minimum 75% attendance throughout their course. The student’s family income (annual) should be less than Rs. 2,00,000/- for SC / ST and Rs. 1,00,000/- for BC / EBC / Minority category.
