A detailed review of Anurag University Hyderabad

Overall Rating
Anurag University Hyderabad is one of the best Universities in Hyderabad, in my opinion. It offers degrees in various domains including Medical, Management, Engineering, and more. It was established in late 2009 and from there, over time it gained recognition from UGC. Moreover, it is ranked the top 13th best Engineering College in South India by Times Top Private Engineering Ranking Survey in 2022. This shows the influence of the university in research and innovation. Overall, it is an all rounder University.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in CSE. This was through the local TS EAMCET counselling. The requirements are that the person should either be qualified in EAMCET or they can also take admission through management quota here. The admission process is very smooth at the University since there are some dedicated guides who will help the students throughout all of it. The exams are conducted regularly too. The University mainly dedicates teams for scheduling the academics and these teams consistently work together in bringing out a good and relevant academic syllabus for the students.
The fees of the my chosen course is around Rs. 2,85,000/- per year and it may go up to Rs. 3,00,000/- per annum depending on the program you have chosen. This covers up your tuition fee and admission fee but when it comes to exam fees you have to pay it every semi-yearly. Scholarships will be provided if the performance is top-notch.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties in our department have Ph.Ds and a few of them are still pursuing their Ph.D degrees. The faculty has a very good background with everyone having an experience of around 10 years. The method of teaching changes from course to course. Some goes on with PPTs and some use white boards. Moreover, healthy debates take place regularly. The student to teacher ratio is around 1:60. My bonding with teachers is great since they are super-friendly and very interested to solve the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
The placements process is very smooth at our University. We have a special body of faculty dealing with these kinds of activities. And when it comes to training, we have some real-time sessions with alumni and some tech experts. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, EPAM and some other companies visit our University for recruitment. The highest package of 2025 batch was 19.75 LPA and the average was 6 LPA. My placements are going on and we have some great opportunities to explore here.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is very good but it is around 800m away from the University’s campus and the hostels for girls and boys are separate with Wi-Fi and other facilities. The mess food is amazing and everyone likes it. The fees of the hostel start from around Rs. 90,000/- and goes up to Rs. 1,40,000/- per year which should be paid as a single payment. There are some caretakers who govern the hostels and keep the hostel safe and secure. I recommend staying in hostel for good and healthy environment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus was very good. And the classrooms have plenty of space where academic learning takes place. Students here at our University are provided with almost every facility they might need as a student. The canteen is very clean and tidy. We even have an emergency team who looks after all the emergency cases in and around the campus. Attending labs was my favorite thing with regards to University's infrastructure. Everything related to infrastructure is outstanding.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life at Anurag University Hyderabad was very good and we even have clubs related to tech, entertainment, event handling, entrepreneurship and some of them are related to arts. These clubs conduct regular events and make the students feel excited about their regular campus life. Every year we conduct an annual day which is one of the biggest events of our University and to welcome new students, fresher’s day is also conducted. We have an enthusiastic environment along with 5 startups which were incubated from our University last year. This shows the interest of our University in research and incubation.

    Anurag University provides multiple courses like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Tech, PG and MBBS, Pharm.D and other many courses and in B.Tech. It provides multiple departments like ECM, AIML and many more. My college is very strict in dress Code and also the students must enter the college before 9:00 AM in the morning and leave after 2:30 in the afternoon.     My experience in the Anurag University is very nice. As I want to become a software engineer for that I have to do Engineering in Computer Science. I heard about this university through friends and advertisements as it comes under the top 10 colleges in Telangana. This university has good placements. Hence, making me choose this college....     Anurag University is an excellent college. The college provides various courses. The quality of the staff is outstanding. The college will encourage the students in various activities.
