Anurag University Hyderabad: Unfiltered View of Final Year Student

Overall Rating
To be specific, my overall experience at the University is good. The infrastructure, curriculum, staff, environment, everything is pretty decent. There are various courses to choose from. The University is a bit decent in ranking among the state, so it led me to choose this University. The placements are decent. The University is located far from central area of the city, making it slightly remote, and gives a natural nature view.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirements for Anurag University Hyderabad are based on 3 variables, one is the entrance exam conducted by University, seconds through EAMCET exams, and the final is through management quota. In my case, I came here through EAMCET and I chose CSE as I was interested in this stream. The exam is conducted similarly through every department. Exams are helpful giving ample time to learn and adapt.
The fee changes per year. As I joined in 2022, fee structure was Rs. 2,50,000/- per year, but as I am from EAMCET, my fee was Rs. 1,50,000/-. it is increased over the years, now this year the structure is Rs. 2,85,000/- P.A.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are pretty decent. They are well versed, pretty knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive in every way. They tend to give their support at all the time. Therefore, I can say that staff & faculty are pretty decent. There are enough faculties to cover each student and create a less complex environment for the teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Placements of Anurag University Hyderabad can be described as average.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University provides residential facilities. The University has its own hostel, which are situated near to the campus. Boys’ and girls’ hostels are separately. Currently, the fee ranges from Rs. 1,25,000/- to Rs. 1,25,000/- for AC & Non-AC rooms. Here, AC & non-AC rooms are available on 3, 4, and 5 sharing basis.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus area is estimated to be about 100+ acres, with many academic blocks and 1 block is under construction. We have many canteens, libraries (central & departmental), one sports block, 2 large grounds, and vast place outside the University for parking. There is also a medical floor and decent security at all gates. We have many labs to provide with research for students. We also have 'Abdul Kalam Auditorium' & other departmental auditoriums.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good. Around 10,000 students are studying here. We have many clubs to take part in it. Every year we hold fests and events. Technical and non-technical fest organised here offer us a good experience to the students. Overall, the experience has been good.

  • Anurag University Hostel Facilities and Fees

    Anurag University provides multiple courses like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Tech, PG and MBBS, Pharm.D and other many courses and in B.Tech. It provides multiple departments like ECM, AIML and many more. My college is very strict in dress Code and also the students must enter the college before 9:00 AM in the morning and leave after 2:30 in the afternoon.     My experience in the Anurag University is very nice. As I want to become a software engineer for that I have to do Engineering in Computer Science. I heard about this university through friends and advertisements as it comes under the top 10 colleges in Telangana. This university has good placements. Hence, making me choose this college....     Anurag University is NBA accredited; NAAC accredited. It provides all the facilities to the students which motivate them to achieve success not only in the academics but also other extracurricular activities. No ragging, very comfortable campus provides every activity and encourages the student to participate in many events, a lot of opportunities, events and programs mainly placements....
