Mar Athanasius College of Engineering Kothamangalam Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure is really good. We have a well stocked library with textbooks, ebooks, journals, research papers etc. We also have a FAB lab, an IOT lab, an IEEE lab for hardware projects, foundry and machine lab etc. We have 24*7 wi-fi in classrooms as well as in hostel. There is a College library as well as libraries for each department. The mess food in the college hostel is much better than that we get in the PG hostels nearby and at a reasonable price. It is also cheaper compared to other hostels. There is sports and other activities available as well. We have a basketball court, football court, swimming pool, a track to train etc.

The campus life is vibrant with different events happening every evening. We have many clubs and societies. There are clubs for your technical interests as well as for your artistic interests. We have technical societies like IEEE, IEDC, SAE, ASME etc. There is a debate club, music club, film club etc. Each club has its own events and has made many achievements. Campus was built in the 1960s. It is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Kerala. Every department has a separate block which reduces the crowd and hastle, every department have their own Library for students and teachers. Labs are present in their respective departments also seminar halls present to conduct meetings. We also have a common library with a large collection of books. A canteen is also present which provides snacks and meals.

The overall campus life is very good as there is a balance between studies and activities. There are many clubs present in our college like debate club, music club, dance club which helps us to improve as a person and also clubs like iot, netx, IEEE to improve our technical skills. We have two fests which is technical fest Takshak conducted in the month of October and annual fest Sanskriti conducted in the month of may.Read Full Review

This college is NAAC accredited with an A++ grade this year, and the infrastructure of the college yields a main factor in this achievement. Every department has separate blocks with full infrastructure. Every department has good labs and well-maintained classrooms with projector facilities. Also, every department has highly technical defined seminar halls for quick meetings. There is a department library in every block of each department and a central library for all departments with free and full access.

The main attraction of this college is the campus life. This campus is very large enough to spend more time on the campus. The arts fest called the Sanskriti is the biggest festival in our college. The 3 days fest will be grand and rememberable our whole life. The national-level tech fest called Takshak is another grand fest in our college. Students have the full freedom of enjoyment these days. The night lives in college in those days are excellent.Read Full Review
