On the basis of the AILET exam 2027 pattern, in the entrance exam, there will be 3 sections for a total of 150 marks which need to be attempted by the candidates in 120 minutes.

For LL.M
In the AILET exam for LL.M program, 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked from the different branches of Law. The total marks of the entrance examination will be 100. In addition to this, students will get the time limit of 120 minutes to answer the questions.
AILET Exam Pattern 2027: Marking Scheme
The AILET marking scheme is structured by the NLU Delhi (exam conducting body). On the basis of this, the conducting authority analyses the skills and competency level of the students.

- Aspirants in the exam will be awarded with 1 mark for every correct answer.
- Negative marking of -0.25 marks will be done if students marked the wrong option for a question.
AILET Exam Pattern 2027: Facilities for PwD Candidates
In accordance with the AILET 2027 exam pattern, students belonging to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category get extra facilities such as compensatory time and scribe facility.
Compensatory Time
For the entire paper, PwBD students will get extra 40 minutes (20 minutes per hour) to complete the AILET exam.
Scribe Facility
Physically disabled students can opt for the scribe facility in the exam. Students can arrange their own scribe, meeting the specified eligibility conditions or they can request the conducting body for the same but they need to indicate this on the AILET portal account.
