The CMAT 2025 exam registration 2025 is expected to start in March 2025. The forms for registration / application of CMAT 2025 are expected to be open for the candidates till April 2025. Students must know that these dates are tentative and finalised dates will be released by the authorities soon.

* Once the registration process gets completed, aspiring candidates appearing for the exam should refer to the CMAT exam pattern 2025 to prepare well for the exam.

The step-by-step details about the application process is given-below:

Step 1: Access the official website i.e., “exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT”.

Step 2: Press the “Registration” tab displayed on the home page.

Step 3: Now, candidates will be transmitted to the CMAT registration page.

Step 4: Fill in all the below-given details to generate an Application Number:

• Candidate’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Father’s Name
• Candidate’s DOB
• Mobile Number
• Valid Email

Step 5: After filling in all the required details, set a strong password.

Step 6: Now, click on the “Submit” icon for receiving an OTP on the registered mobile number.

Step 7: Enter the OTP and note down the generated Application Number for future reference.

Step 8: Post registration, revisit the official website and login with the generated application number and created password.

Step 9: Fill in all the details like personal information, academic qualification, preferred test cities, etc.
*Students must select 4 examination test centre cities of their preference. The test centre city will be allotted on the basis of the candidate’s permanent / correspondence address by the exam authorities.

*While filling the Application form, state-listed OBC candidates who are not under the OBC-NCL (Central list) must choose the General category.

Step 10: Review all the details and make changes if required before clicking on the “Submit” button.

Step 11: After submitting the CMAT application form, candidates are asked to upload the scanned image of their passport size photograph, signature, and PwD certificate (if applicable).

Step 12: After completing all the required formalities, pay the applicable CMAT 2025 registration / application fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI.

It is mandatory for the applicants to scan and upload the asked documents / images after filling the CMAT application form. Following are the requirements to upload and scan the candidate’s required documents:

Photograph

• Candidate’s passport size photograph must be recent.
• The size of the photograph should be between 10KB to 200KB.
• The background of the photo should be colour / black & white with 80% face visibility.

Signature

• Should have signed full signature on the plain white paper with either black or blue pen.
• The size of the file is required to be in between 04KB to 30KB.

PwD Certificate (If Applicable)

• It is mandatory to ensure that the PwD Certificate file size lies between 50KB to 300KB.

* The format of each file of any document / image should be JPG or JPEG.

Applicants are required to have below-given documents to fill the details of the CMAT registration / application form:

• Passport Size Photograph
• Class 10^th & 12^th Marksheet
• Graduation Marksheet
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• PwD / DA Certificate (if applicable)
• Candidate’s Signature.

The NTA is expected to open the correction form window in the last week of April 2025. Students can modify the details in the certain section of the application form by logging on the official website with an already generated application number and created password. Once the correction window gets closed, applicants will not be able to make any changes.

• The test city centre’s should be selected on the basis of first to last preference.
• Candidates will receive a confirmation email and SMS after successful completion of the application fee payment. In any case, if the candidates do not receive any confirmation email / SMS, they should immediately contact the examination office.
