* The medium of instruction in the qualifying exam should be English. Students whose mode of instruction was in another language have to submit the NELT / TOEFL / IELTS score.
* Aspirants who have a valid score in GMAT / CAT / NMAT / XAT from 2023 onwards or are alumni of IFHE / have qualified M.Phil or UGC NET in Management are not required to appear for IBSAT exam 2025.
Candidates who wish to appear for the IBSAT exam 2025 can register for the same via online mode on ‘general.ibsindia.org’. Aspirants can also purchase the IBSAT application forms from any of the nearby IBS Marketing Branches & pay the exam fee in cash.

The IBSAT entrance test exam 2025 for MBA & PGPM will be conducted by the IFHE Deemed University via online Remote Proctored Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. As per the IBSAT Exam Pattern 2025, the test paper will include 4 sections namely Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation.
The duration of the entrance test will be 120 minutes & medium of instruction will be English. Appearing candidates have to attempt a total of 140 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) wherein each of the questions will carry 1 mark and no negative marking will be done for wrong answers.

Cut-off marks are the minimum scores required to qualify the exam. The cut-off marks will be announced a few days after the entrance test. The IBSAT 2025 cut-off marks are different for each of the IBS campuses. Students who qualify the entrance exam will be eligible to appear for the further rounds of the admission process.
The selection process for the MBA & PGPM programs will be conducted in the 2nd Week of February 2026 / March 2026, and in April 2026 for the Ph.D course. Students who have passed CAT / NMAT / GMAT / XAT in 2023 or later are not required to attempt IBSAT, but are supposed to fill in the IBSAT 2025 registration form & update the requisite scores on or before 31st January 2026.
Similarly, for the Ph.D program, candidates who have obtained 70 percentile in GMAT or CAT from 2023 onwards / qualified UGC NET can directly update their scores. After this, a Selection Process Call Letter will be issued to the candidates who have qualified the IBSAT exam 2025 / other specified entrance test.
Before the IBSAT Counselling Process 2025, the conducting body will organise Selection Briefings in the 2nd – 3rd Week of January 2026 for the qualifying students in more than 70 cities across India. The seminars / selection briefings will be conducted with the aim to enlighten the aspirants about the IBS selection process & clear their doubts.
Post this, the qualifying candidates have to appear for the Micro Presentation (MP) & Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The IBSAT Seat Allotment 2025 or final selection will be done based on the applicants’ performance in the above-mentioned rounds & their past academic experience.
