Academic Qualification
The academic qualification required in accordance with the IBSAT eligibility criteria 2025 are as follows:
- For MBA & PGPM: Completed Bachelor’s Degree in any stream in a 10+2+3 / 10+2+4 pattern.
* Candidates who are in the final year of their UG Degree are eligible to appear for the entrance test.
- For Ph.D (Management): Qualified Graduation, and Postgraduation in the specified discipline / CA / CWA / CFA / CS on a 10+2+3+2 / 10+2+4+2 basis.
Note: Aspirants must have passed the qualifying exam (for all the above-mentioned programs) in English medium or else, they are supposed to submit the NELT / TOEFL / IELTS scores before 31st May 2026.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: Important Points to Note
Some of the other important points that the aspirants should be mindful of regarding the IBSAT eligibility criteria 2025 are given below:
- For MBA & PGPM programs, aspirants who are in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree can appear for the entrance test given, they complete Graduation (including assignments / practical exams / viva) by 31st May 2026.
- According to the IBSAT exam eligibility criteria, the admission of such candidates will be considered provisional till they produce the Degree Certificates / Marksheets of the qualifying exam to the concerned authorities. The deadline to submit the aforementioned documents is 1st November 2026.
- Students who have passed GMAT / NMAT / CAT / XAT in 2023 or later are exempted from appearing in the IBSAT exam 2025. Additionally, the alumni of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) Deemed-to-be-University / those who have qualified M.Phil or UGC NET are not needed to attempt the entrance test.
