The K-LAT 2026 is a National-Level Exam which will be conducted in Online mode and to apply for this entrance exam, students are required to follow the below-given steps:
Step 1: Visit “law.kiit.ac.in” (Official website of the KIIT School of Law)
Step 2: Click “Apply Now” tab displayed on the homepage.
Step 3: Press the “New Registration” button and read all the instructions carefully.
* Already registered students can click on “Sign In” and enter the Application Number, Password, and Security Code to get redirected to the application form page.
Step 4: Fill the “Check Box” and select the “Click here to Proceed” button to get directed to the application page.
Step 5: Fill-in the following personal details in the K-LAT 2026 Application Form:
- Course Applied for
- Candidate’s & Parent’s Name
- Category
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Religion
- Aadhaar Card Number
- Email ID
- Applicant’s Mobile Number

Step 6: Now, enter the permanent address details including locality, country, state, district, pincode, etc.
Step 7: After filling-in all the details, choose and confirm the password.
Step 8: Later on, enter the Captcha / Security Pin as shown on the screen.
Step 9: Press the “Submit” button and get directed to the qualification details page.
Step 10: After filling-in all the details in the form, complete the process by uploading the scanned images of photograph and signature in specified format.

Students should know that without satisfying the K-LAT Eligibility Criteria 2026, they cannot apply for the entrance test. The minimum educational requirement for the KIITEE LAW exam is to pass Class 12th or its equivalent exam with at least 45% marks for General category students (5% relaxation is available in marks for candidates belonging to the SC / ST category).
In addition to this, the authorities have not set any minimum age limit criteria. However, the maximum age limit is as per the conditions laid by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
