Academic Qualifications
To appear for the MICAT 2026, aspirants must have qualified UG Degree in 10+2+3 pattern / other equivalent in any discipline. The Degree should be recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

There are some important points related to the MICAT exam 2026 eligibility criteria that the students in the final year of Graduation / equivalent or those awaiting results must be aware about; the points are mentioned below:
- The candidates have to produce a Certificate issued by the Principal / Registrar / Director / Head of Department (HOD) / University stating that the students are currently in the last year of the qualifying exam / awaiting final results. Additionally, they must certify that such aspirants have fulfilled all the necessities for obtaining the UG Degree / equivalent on the date of issue of the Certificate. The above-mentioned Certificate has to be submitted by the applicants likely by 30th June 2026.
- If such aspirants are shortlisted for admission, they will be required to submit the aforementioned Certificate only then they will be permitted to join the course provisionally. Moreover, the admission of the candidates will be considered confirmed only when they submit the final Marksheet & Certificate of the qualifying exam.
- The due date to submit the final Marksheet & the Passing Certificate is probably 31st December 2026. In case, applicants fail to submit the above-mentioned documents before the deadline, their provisional admission shall be automatically cancelled.
