The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a National level entrance examination that is held for filling the admission seats of the B.Arch program. The NATA result 2026 is provided by the Council of Architecture (conducting body) to the students on ‘nata.in’. Its scores are valid for 2 years from the date the exam was taken.
Students should know that the NATA result date will be scheduled to be published 7 days post their respective exam date.
The NATA result 2026 will be made available to the students in the form of statement of marks / scorecard; to view and download the same, applicants need to follow the guidelines given below:
* If students have attempted the NATA entrance test twice in Phase 1 then separate scorecards will be generated for them.
The statement of marks / scorecard will reflect the overall performance of the candidates. Some of the important details that students will find in their NATA result 2026 are stated below:
The NATA entrance exam result for Phase 1 will be calculated by considering the overall performance of the appearing candidates in the test. Since Phase 1 will be conducted in multiple sessions, these raw marks will then be converted into percentile scores to eliminate any chances of unfair assessment. In case, students have taken 2 attempts in the test then their best performance will be taken into consideration for the evaluation of result.
Applicants who appear for the Phase 2 of NATA 2026 will be issued only their sectional and overall raw marks in the scorecards. Candidates who took the entrance test in 2025 but did not secure B.Arch admission in that academic year must download their final scorecard to apply for admission in the present year. This applies even if they did not appear for NATA in 2026. Moreover, the basis of ranking will be the merit of the applicants in the entrance test.
The determination of the result of NATA for different phases will be done as per the below-tabulated criteria:
|
NATA 2025 Status |

Final Raw Score Considered in NATA 2026 |

|

* It is to be noted that the NATA result for academic year 2026 will be available only till 90 days after its declaration. After this, no requests for providing any information will be considered.
The conducting body i.e., COA has not specified any minimum raw scores for passing the NATA exam 2026. On the other hand, for Phase 1, students should have a non-zero percentile score in the entrance test to be considered as qualified.
COA will publish the NATA exam result 2026 seven days after the students appear for the test.
The result of the entrance exam for the Phase 1 will comprise both raw scores and percentile obtained by the students. However, for Phase 2, only the raw marks secured by candidates will be considered.
In case applicants have appeared for the Phase 1 of entrance test twice then the best score of these two will be taken into consideration for calculation of result.
