NEET MDS Exam Pattern 2025 (OUT): Marking Scheme, Exam Day Requirements & Total Marks

The national level NEET MDS exam will be conducted online in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode (CBT) as per the NEET MDS exam pattern 2025. Students have to attempt 240 objective type questions within the time frame of 3 hours. Each question will contain only 4 answer choices and for every wrong answer, 25% of negative marking will be applicable.

NEET MDS exam 2025 pattern is designed by the exam conducting body i.e., National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The NEET MDS exam will be conducted in the English language only in a single session once every year.

As per the NEET MDS pattern 2025, there will be two parts / sections in the question paper which are Part A and Part B. Both of these combinedly contain a total of 240 questions in the exam paper. Part A comprises 100 questions and in Part B, 140 questions are included.

• 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
• The negative marking for -1 mark will be applicable for every incorrect answer.

The NEET MDS syllabus will be designed on the basis of regulations of DCI, accordingly it will be similar to the standard of the BDS course curriculum.
