NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2026: Special Points to Consider
There are some special points related to the NIMCET 2026 Exam Eligibility Criteria which should be considered by the students; the details are listed-below:
- Students who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are eligible for the NIMCET 2026. However, they are required to submit the Certificate as a proof of candidature to appear in the entrance test at the time of 2026-27 academic year. Furthermore, candidates are also required to submit the proof of satisfying the eligibility criteria of the test during the counselling / admission up to the Last Week of September 2026. Otherwise, their admission will be cancelled by the respective NITs.
- Candidates who are appearing in or qualified a 3 years UG degree with Mathematics / Statistics from Open Universities approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Government of India are eligible to apply for the NIMCET exam.
