NIMCET Result 2026: Overview
NIT MCA CET / NIMCET is a National level entrance test that is held for admission in the MCA program available at the participating NITs and IIITs. The rank list will be uploaded on the official website. Students who qualify the entrance examination will be eligible for admission in the respective academic session only.

NIMCET Result 2026: Calculation of Result and Criteria for Ranking
The marks mentioned in the NIMCET entrance exam result will be calculated as the compiled scores in all the sections of the test paper. The sections include Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English.
The maximum weightage of marks will be 1000. Thus, ranks will be allocated to the students on the basis of merit marks in the entrance examination.
* It is important to note that students who obtain 0 (zero) or negative marks in Mathematics / in total in the entrance test will be automatically disqualified.
