NPAT Registration 2026: How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed University) is the conducting body which will start the NPAT 2026 registrations expectedly from 20th February 2026. Students will be allowed to apply and submit their application forms till the last date which will be in the 4th Week of May 2026 (tentative).

It is expected that the NPAT 2026 exam will be conducted online at different test centres probably from the 1st Week of March 2026 till 5th Week of May 2026. The NPAT registration 2026 fee is Rs. 2000/- for selecting one school / college. Students can apply for maximum 2 re-takes, an additional fee will be charged for each re-take.

The NPAT Exam registration is conducted every year by the conducting body i.e., SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed to be University) for 12^th passed out / appearing students to get admission into UG programs in Commerce, Economics, Branding & Advertising, Liberal Arts, International Studies, and Management disciplines.

For successful registration, students will have to pay the fees for NPAT Exam 2026. In the 1^st attempt of the exam, students will have to pay an amount of Rs. 2000/- as the registration fees (for choosing 1 school / college) for the NMIMS NPAT 2026. Students will need to pay an additional charge of Rs. 1000/- per college / school.

SVKM’s NMIMS (exam conducting body) provides the option to students to appear for a maximum of 2 retakes in any selected category i.e. (1st main test with 2 retakes), for which an additional registration fee is charged per retake.

Note: The fees for Retake-1 and Retake-2 of the NPAT entrance exam is the same as the 1st attempt, as specified above in the table. Students will need to pay the same amount separately for appearing in Retake-1 and Retake-2.

* The paid registration fees will not get refunded later / it is non transferable

To appear in the NMIMS NPAT 2026, students will have to register online through the exam’s official website “nmimsnpat.in”. Applicants are advised to apply before the NPAT 2026 registration last date which will probably be in the 4^th Week of May 2026.

Interested candidates can follow the below-given steps in order to fill the NPAT 2026 application form successfully:

Step 1 - Initial Registration: Firstly, students need to register to create their NMIMS account with the following process:

• Navigate “nmimsnpat.in” (the exam’s official website).
• Click the “Apply Now” tab on the website and a new page will open.
• Click the “Register” option and enter the asked details such as Candidate’s Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number.
• Afterwards, candidates need to click the “Get OTP” option to receive an OTP on their mobile number.
• Enter the received OTP and other details including State, City, Program, and Course (as per the preference).
• Now, enter the Captcha as shown on the screen and tick “Check Box”.
• Press the “Register” button to complete the registration process.

* Already registered candidates can skip the above step of registration and can proceed directly for login by using the credentials.

Step 2 - Fill-in the NPAT 2026 Application Form: Post Registration, students can apply for the exam by following the below-mentioned process:

• Post registration, login with the registered Email ID and Password, then click the “Login” button.

* Students will also have an option to login via an OTP.

• After logging-in, fill-in all the required details such as:
  • Personal Information
  • Academic Qualification
  • Select the Test Category / School / Program and Campus Preferences
• Click the “Submit” tab after completing the application form.

* Students can select multiple test categories / schools and program preferences. Along with that, they can choose for multiple attempts / re-take/s for NPAT.

Step 3: Make the Payment

After filling-in all the asked information, students will have to pay the applicable application fees.

Step 4: Schedule the Exam

After successful registration and payment, choose the Test City / Centre and Date of Exam.

* Students should know that the exam date & test centre will be allotted to them as per the subject to availability on a first come first serve basis.

Below-mentioned are some important points that students are required to consider at the time of NPAT exam 2026 registration:

• The registration fees will be based on the number of schools selected for each test category and the total retakes. Only the candidates who have paid the registration fees will be allowed to schedule the exam.
• Students should know that registering multiple times for the exam category in which they have already applied can lead to cancellation of their admission.
• No request will be accepted related to change in the exam category and to add schools in the same category after the exam.
• Test centres and dates have to be chosen by the applicant only according to their preferences. Once the exam dates and centres are selected, it cannot be changed later.
• After scheduling the exam, a confirmation notification will be sent to the registered email ID that must be the same throughout the exam to avoid any discrepancies.
• Re-scheduling of the exam or cancellation of registration is not allowed by NMIMS.
• While filling the online application form of NPAT 2026, students need to upload their recent passport size photograph in the prescribed format only.

The eligibility criteria for NPAT 2026 exam is prescribed by the exam conducting authority i.e., SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University). Students aspiring to get admission into their desired Undergraduate program (through the exam score) offered by the campuses of NMIMS must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the NPAT 2026.

As per the NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2026, any student who has passed or appeared in the 12^th standard or equivalent qualifying examination are eligible to appear for the NPAT 2026 exam. Candidates also need to satisfy the eligibility specific to the program for which they are applying. The maximum age limit to apply for the NPAT exam is 25 years.
