Academic Qualifications
According to the OUAT eligibility criteria 2026, candidates are required to clear 12th Standard with required subjects to attempt the test for admission in UG academic courses. Moreover, students should have qualified a 4 or 5.5 years Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline to appear for the OUAT 2026 exam for any PG program.
Qualifying Marks
Aggregate 50% are the required qualifying scores for the students applying for UG program. Moreover, for PG courses, candidates should have obtained at least 60% marks / 6.60 OGPA (ten point scale) or 3.25 OGPA (5 point scale) in their last qualifying exam.
For categories including SC / ST / PwD / PMSSS / Kashmiri Migrant / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non Migrant) / Kashmiri Pandit (Non Migrant), the qualifying marks are 40% (for UG courses) and 50% / 5.60 or 2.75 OGPA in ten or five points scale, respectively for the Master’s programs.
In addition to this, Agro-Polytechnic (OUAT) pass out students should have obtained 50% in Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic and 45% (for UR category) and 40% (for SC / ST / PwD) in Class 12th.
Age Limit
To qualify the Undergraduate OUAT eligibility criteria 2026, interested candidates should be minimum 17 years of age (as on 31st December 2026). However, no upper as well as lower age criterion has been specified for Postgraduate programs.
