• Students should make sure that they do not put any identification mark / disclose their identity using any method on the question booklet or OMR sheet or else, their candidature shall be cancelled.
• If candidates are found to be impersonating the applicants then the pretender will be disqualified from attempting the entrance test including the PU MET 2026 for a period of 5 years. If the impersonators are not enrolled in a recognised educational Institution then additionally, they will be declared not fit and legal action might be taken against them. Furthermore, the applicant being impersonated will be disqualified for 5 years from appearing in all the examinations of the Panjab University, and the University may take action against such students.

Furthermore, if students wish to verify their result then, they have to pay Rs.1000/- within 10 days of the declaration of the final result. The exam conducting authority i.e., Panjab University, Chandigarh will directly release the final merit list of the candidates instead of announcing the cut off marks. The final merit list will be based on the students’ scores in the PU MET 2026, group discussion, and the personal interview.

The details about the selection process for admission at the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) will be announced on the official website & notice board of the Institute. The qualifying students will be called to attend the Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) on the basis of their PU MET 2026 scores tentatively on 14^th, 15^th, 16^th, 17^th, 19^th, 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd, 27^th, and 28^th May 2026 at the premises of the UIAMS. Such candidates must carry the duly filled admission form of UIAMS along with the requisite documents & its photocopies for verification.

The total number of candidates called for GD & PI shall be 8 times the total number of seats for each category in all the courses. Moreover, the students under different reserved categories including NRI shall be first considered in the General category. In addition to this, students belonging to the reserved categories will also compete within the respective categories in accordance with the reservation norms of the Panjab University.

Furthermore, the PU MET Counselling Process 2026 will be done probably in the 3^rd or 4^th Week of June 2026. If 2 or more appearing candidates have obtained equal marks in the PU MET 2026 then they will be bracketed together. In such a case, the inter-se-merit of such students will be taken into consideration by the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) as per the regulations of the conducting authority.

The University-level PU MET 2026 will be conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh for offering admission to the qualifying students in various specialisations of the MBA program. Thus, through the entrance test scores, the candidates will be eligible for admission in the PU MET Participating College 2026 i.e., University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS).
