The exam conducting authority i.e., Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University) has prescribed the syllabus for the SAEEE entrance exam. Applicants are advised to read & understand the syllabus thoroughly to get an idea of the complexity of the entrance test. In accordance with the exam pattern of the SAEEE 2026, the entrance exam will be held online via CBT mode in 2 phases. The exam duration will be of 1 hour wherein a total of 60 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked. As per the marking pattern, for each correct response, the appearing candidates will be awarded with 1 mark. No marks will be deducted for unanswered / un-attempted questions.

Students who will qualify the SAEEE 2026 can participate in the counseling for taking admission in the desired UG Technical Program of the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology - SIST Chennai. The dates for the SAEEE Counselling Process 2026 will be released after the announcement of results. Candidates can download the Counseling Call Letter from the official website only.
The SAEEE Seat Allotment 2026 will be done only on the basis of merit marks of the candidates in the entrance test & based on the seats vacant on the particular date of counseling. After this, students will be issued a provisional admission letter. Then, candidates will be required to pay the requisite fee & submit the relevant documents without which their admission will be cancelled.
*Applicants must note that the counseling date cannot be changed. Furthermore, in case of absence on the specified date, the seat will be offered to the next student in the order of merit.
*If there are any disparities / mismatches found in documents submitted post admission then, the students’ admission will be cancelled.
The SAEEE 2026 is a University Level entrance exam; it is conducted for offering admission to the qualifying candidates in the Undergraduate Technical Programs like B.E, B.Tech, and B.Arch in various specialisations. Thus, students passing the entrance exam will be eligible for admission in the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University) & its constituent units only. So, there are no other SAEEE Participating Colleges 2026 that accept the scores of the SAEEE test.
Through the SAEEE 2026 exam, candidates will be eligible for admissions in the B.E, B.Arch, and B.Tech programs offered by the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University) and its constituent units.
Students should be appearing / have passed 12th class / other equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category) in the respective stream. Moreover, they must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks / 6.0 CGPA in 10th / equivalent to be eligible for SAEEE exam 2026.
