VITEEE Registration 2026: How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will probably start the VITEEE Registration 2026 from 4th November 2025. Candidates who have met the eligibility criteria can register / apply for the test online at “viteee.vit.ac.in” until the VITEEE 2026 registration last date i.e., 7th April 2026. Applicants have to pay Rs. 1350/- as the exam fee in order to confirm their candidature for appearing in the entrance exam.

Candidates are required to pay the fee of Rs.1350/- to complete the application process of VITEEE 2026 exam. Students who are choosing abroad test centres have to pay equivalent to USD 90 in INR before the VIT application form 2026 last date.

Candidates can pay the application fee by using any one of the following payment mode:

• Net-Banking
• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• Paytm

* The application fee will not be refunded in any circumstances.

The Vellore Institute of Technology Entrance exam authorities will conduct the registration online on the exam’s official website. Following is the step-by-step process to fill the VITEEE application form 2026:

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the “viteee.vit.ac.in” i.e., the exam’s official website.
• Click on the registration URL available on the home screen.
• Enter a valid email ID & mobile number and all other required details.
• Now, on the registered mobile number, an OTP will be sent.
• Enter the OTP for verification purposes.
• After successful validation of OTP, a password will be sent on the registered email ID.

Step 2: Login

• Post registration, login with the registered email ID and received password on the exam’s official website.

Step 3: Fill the VITEEE 2026 Application Form

• After successfully logging in, fill in all the asked details including:
  • Personal Details
  • Academic Details
  • Contact Details
• Now, submit all the filled details to generate an Application Number.

* Students must note down the generated application number for further reference.

Step 4: Payment

• Once the details of the VIT application form 2026 are filled, pay the examination fee through any of the payment-modes mentioned-above.

Step 5: Upload the Documents / Images

• After successful payment, upload the scanned images of the candidate's passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed manner.

Step 6: Download the filled Application Form

• After completing all the above-stated steps, download and save the filled application form for future requirements.

Note: Candidates who do not fit into the VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2026 will be not able to register for the test.

At the time of filling the application form, candidates have to scan and upload the required documents in a certain manner which are mentioned-below:

Passport Size Photograph

The candidate’s passport size photograph must be clicked at a studio and should be fit into the below-mentioned criteria:

• The photo should be coloured and taken against the light background, either white or off-white.
• It should be clearly visible.
• The photo should not have any glare from spectacles and no blur in the focus
• File Format: JPEG
• File Size: 20 KB to 300 KB
• Dimension of Photograph: Width - 300 to 400 pixels x Height - 400 to 550 pixels.
• The photograph is required to be having optimum exposure and it should not be too dark or bright.
• Make sure only the candidate's face is visible in the photo.

Signature

Following are the instructions to upload the candidate’s signature:

• Sign should be done with a dark blue or black pen in a rectangular box of size 6 cm (width) x 2 cm (height) on plain A4 size white paper.
• The signature is required to be scanned in JPEG format by using a scanner.
• To crop the image of signature, use the scanned signature image with MS Paint.
• The final dimensions of the image (after cropping) is required to be 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height).
• File Size: 20 KB to 300KB.

VIT, the test conducting body, provides the application form correction facility. Through this facility, students can edit the VITEEE application form after its submission.

To access the correction facility, students can get the link on the exam’s official website i.e., ‘‘viteee.vit.ac.in”. Candidates should know that not all sections of the application form can be modified through the correction window.

Students who are interested to apply for the VITEEE should go through the following points:

• For NRI Category candidates, there is no entrance exam and VIT admission 2026 is provided on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and availability of seats. However, they can apply for the VITEEE exam through its official website.
• During the payment of the application fee, if the amount has been debited but the candidates have not received confirmation. In such cases, students are required to wait for an hour on the same login page.

In any case, if the examination fee amount has been deducted twice for the same application, students will receive the refund of the excess amount within the 7 working days.
