I am pursuing my BCA from IMS Noida. IMS stands for institute of management and studies. It is an average college for BCA, or I can say little bit more than average but not an ideal college for BCA. If you have another choices better than this then I will prefer go for that but if you are looking colleges near Noida or Delhi NCR than you can sure go for this because the distance of Noida and Delhi NCR are not far so you can easily come, your cost of vehicle will be saved in Noida you can consider this is the more than average college but if your city is different than I will say don't come go for another choices to save your valuable money.

BCA is the 3-year professional course. For taking admission in BCA, you should have cleared 12th from any board and must have 50% in your 12th class. If you don't have mathematics in your 12th or CS so don’t worry. You can still apply for this course in IMS Noida they don't go for your past subjects. You can have no Maths or non-CS still you can apply for this course but remember you are going to study mathematics and CS in your BCA course. So, if you have mathematics in your 12th or CS then you can consider it as your plus point. If you are interested to know and study about computer graphics, video editing, or will do your career in software development, Android development and data science or further computer field you must go for the BCA course.

Let's come to the faculty then some are good, and some are not good, or I can say their teaching methods is old now they should learn the new ways to keep up their students interested but apart from some teachers other one's are fine they keep up students with the current syllabus and technology. Faculties are not rude anymore they are polite with those who give the equal response and respect them. Some teachers are assistant professor now, but some are well experienced so if I will give rating for the faculty than I would say 8/10.

They say companies are coming and taking their students which is right companies are coming and also taking students but not more than 5-6 students in whole BCA batch 2-3 companies are coming every year and they only took 5-6 students for the placement. So, if you are too good then you can get campus placement but don't depend properly in college you can go for the off-campus placement.

Yes, IMS provide hostel but it's only for girls. The food of hostel can be considered as average it's not too much good. Hostels are non-AC & Ac both. Hostel is present in the college. Its infrastructure can be considered moderate. They don't provide gym and beauty parlor facilities.

Talking about infrastructure it's not a big, covered area college. It has small ground and small canteen area, and college is also not occupying more space. Building is in good condition. Teachers provide books online and notes also for offline book you can take form library but most of the books are not available there. College has 5 block A, B, C, D, E and have volley wall ground+ one more ground, 2 library and a canteen and the hostel that's it.

College provides fest, freshers, farewell and also the other festivals cultural activities. The crowd of college is moderate. They have different clubs like dance club, music club, fine arts, theater club etc. and they also have different societies. They provide competition in different fields for activities it's 8.5/10.
