Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology is well renowned among other colleges. Located in a city called Davangere in Karnataka state. This college is affiliated with VTU University which is well known for its excellence, bright students, and extreme competition. College's infrastructure is amazing. If you are a nature lover, you are going to love the campus. While you adore the campus, the girls and boys hostel is really good too. Especially the girl's hostel. The academics are average and enriched with good teachers. Since I'm a north Indian, so I had to go through COMEDK entrance to get into the college. If you are a south Indian, you need to clear CET. The admission process begins once you clear the examination. And got a good rank to get into this college. You have to come down for counseling to get into college. After this, you need to submit your original 10th and 12th marks card. Leading to this, you will have to fill forms in college and get a seat.

I joined in textile technology since this college ranks on top when it comes to the textile branch. Your rank will decide what course you can choose. If you have a good rank, you will be free to choose the branch of your choice. I joined Textile technology because I was very much drawn to fashion, cloth, their making, and everything from the scratch. The branch was exactly what I expected. Since we have huge machines and different interesting labs to let us know the basics of textile. With increasing pollution and ban on plastic. Textiles are going to be the one and only replacement for many plastic materials. So textile technology is going to be at the top in the coming years, generating jobs.

We had close to 20 faculties in our textile branch. With close to 11 years of experience. Some had 15 years of experience. Our HOD has written many books and visited many countries for different research on textile. Academic qualifications were M.Tech and MS in textile's different subjects. I loved our faculty's teaching style. They made us learn everything so easily and in simple words. Each subject and the topics we used to do it in practice as well. Clearing all our doubts.

Textile has 100% placement in our college. Leading export houses such as Shahi Exports, Gokuldas, Jockey etc. visit our campus for selecting students. To work with them. The highest package provided was Rs. 5 LPA. 100% of students got placed from our branch. Because of our faculties collective efforts and our hard work.

I used to love my hostel. Huge room for 3 girls. Separate fan, table, bed, and huge windows. The cupboards were huge, with different cabinets for shoes, dresses, makeup, etc. Added with a big mirror. The hostel was surrounded by nature, trees, flowers, and a highway very far. Sunsets are amazing there. I, along with my friends used to sit and watch the sunset with tea cup in hand. We have a huge television hall. Girls used to watch serials, songs, etc. Hostel fees were Rs. 25,000 per semester when I was there in 2018. The food was great. Healthy south Indian food. The security was really good. With guards on the main gate and aunty for inside. The hostel is inside the college campus so there wasn't any fear of security.

The area was really huge, with huge branch buildings. You will have to walk for half a day to watch each and every corner of the college. The buildings include Admin, Electrical branch, CS branch with a mechanical building, Sports building. Textile branch and a huge indoor stadium for convocation. Three playgrounds, two cafeterias with above 20 plus labs, and 1 huge auditorium.

I loved my college life. It made me know my worth. We had many clubs and fun activities. Including yoga day, rose day, ethnic day. Davana was a huge fest where I have participated in Dance, ramp walk, and singing. The college provides you endless possibilities to showcase your skills. The fests were of two types. One the college fest and the other branch fests. Depending on the different branches. The experience was really great I loved my time there.
