Currently, I am a 2nd semester student in BIET college. My college days are going well since all the lectures and teaching are good. I love the college environment since it's a green campus and there are good classes. Even the college staff is very supportive for academics and also for other activities.

I am studying AIML branch in this college so I'll give my review for the same. Coming to the requirements, we should clear our SSLC and PUC graduation and also CET through which we can get admission. We should also have a decent ranking of 25000 to 30000. The main reason I chose this branch is that currently, it's a booming branch and I can explore many new things. I want achieve something which is useful for our society through this branch.

There is very good staff for teaching. All the lecturers are well versed in their particular specialisation branch. They are very supportive and especially our branch HOD, who supports for all the co-curricular activities along with the academics. We have limited students in a class. There are many teachers who have done their double degrees and even Ph.D, so all are good at teaching the topics. Everyone has their own style of teaching which we can understand easily. If we face any problem, we can directly inform the staff and it will be corrected.

Yes, there is a Placement Cell. Since the past few years, good placement offers have been coming with decent packages. Many students of all branches are placed in good companies. There are many internship opportunities for the students to build their career. The college faculty also helps the students for the good placements.

Yes, we have the hostel facilities available here. We have hostels for both girls and boys. Girls’ hostel is inside the campus and boys’ hostel is outside the campus. Our hostels have good facilities like good food and clean rooms with well managed, clean environment. We even have a green campus outside the hostel where we can sit peacefully and spend time. There is a reasonable fee for the hostel. There are many activities which are conducted and all the festivals are also celebrated to give a homely feeling to the students.

The college infrastructure is maintained well. The college is built in 61.25 acres of land which consists of separate blocks for different branches. We also have a central library where all the books required for academics are available, also we also have digital library which consists of sufficient systems. We have well maintained classrooms with the laboratories. We have an auditorium which is very beautifully designed and is one of the best auditoriums in central Karnataka. There are 2 playgrounds situated in the campus where all types of activities are held and we also have an indoor playground.

My college life is going well; I have a good friend circle and also good teaching staff members. There are many students who take admission for different branches. Every year, nearly 800 to 1000 get output from the college. Many fests and activities take place in the college, like sports and cultural activities. ‘Davana’ is the college fest which is organised every year in the months of April or May. There are also fests like ethnic day and Dhamani, and many activities are organised by different branches. Overall, we can enjoy our college life well.
