ICFAI University M.Com Review By Chirey K Marak

I did my M.Com from ICFAI University, Shillong, Meghalaya; it is situated in Northeast, India. I joined in the year 2021 and completed by 2023, my experience about this University is, it is great for the students to learn from this University, I got the opportunity to pursue my Master in this University, as compared to other University I find it's suitable for a student to look forward in this University. Students are friendly and if you are pursuing for M.Com your accounts teacher is not expected, She's so good that you will literally understand everything in her class, most important part about this University is less budget, why I'm saying less budget because they provide uniforms, which saves lots of money from purchasing clothes for everyday styles, as a female student I know how one women needs lots of clothes for every day. If any of you are looking for this College you should give a try, it welcomes every student with warm welcome and teachers and all faculty members are all friendly and study level is good.

The courses are M.Com, MA Political Science, MA English, MSW, MBA, BBA, B.Com, BA, you can check the prospectus, and it is available online. Requirements are your mark sheet of your last class; you can easily get admission. All are eligible whoever is looking for this University. If you are enrolling for M.Com than motives, are you can gain more knowledge, you can improve your skills and most important things is there is internship, which is good because it makes one student learn how it works and how it helps in future.

Faculty members are great in their own works, yes, every teacher is responsible for their own work and their backgrounds namely I can only give which categories they belong too, they are Khasi tribe, Muslim, Bengali, Assamese and their teaching style is totally outstanding it's very interesting to listen and easy to understand.

Regarding placement than yes, it's there but whether it helps a student to acquire jobs in the industry than I think it is but I'm not sure, but it helps the students to look for a job.

In this University there are three compounds, in first building there are reception, exam department, Registrar office, teachers staff rooms, library, computer lab, restrooms, and so on, second building has four floors, students' classrooms are their teachers staff room, washroom, and third building classrooms, staffrooms, washroom and has four floors.

No clubs, yes food fests are there, University weeks, freshers meet, NSS etc. Yes, it's crowded as it is situated in nearby highway. Other engagement activities are NSS students get chances to take a part for Republic Day in New Delhi and student tour are there. Campus Life is great, actually there is no big compound but yes surroundings are good, shops are available near campus which is good for a student to have lunch and every function are celebrated outside the campus.
