Overall Rating
I am a B.Tech 2nd year students in Andhra University Visakhapatnam. Around 180 courses are available at this University. My overall experience of studying here is decent. One of my family members suggested writing the AUEET entrance exam & then through the scores of this exam, I secured a seat in this University. Overall, it is a decent University.

Academics Rating
I chose CSE because I like this field. You can secure admission in this University by appearing in EAPCET or AUEET (Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test) exams. Admission process here is similar to many Universities. After the seat allotment, there will be some waiting period or gap. After some time, results will be released results. Exams are conducted for 6 times in a year, 3 times each for a semester, which are 2 mid-semesters exams & a final test. Academics here are more theoretical based.
My fee is Rs. 2,05,000/- for 1st year. There may be concession for students of different categories.

Faculty Rating
Some faculties are highly experienced. Some are research scholars. They teach on blackboards and PPTs. Teacher to student ratio at the University is 3:7. I can say that they are more approachable & they always look to clarify our doubts.

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is situated in Waltair Junction, Visakhapatnam. Infrastructure here is above average. It has peaceful environment. Some buildings are old even, while rest of them are new. My department has dedicated blocks for classes of junior and freshers. Seating capacity in classrooms is more. There are many facilities like library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, etc. There are many canteens in the campus, which are good. Remaining like sports, medical, transport, security, and others are decent.

Campus Rating
My overall campus life at the Andhra University Visakhapatnam is decent. There is huge crowd in this University. There are many clubs here. I am part of Photography Club. They are more extracurricular activities organised by University. There are many number fests and events conducted on special days or festivals.
