Overall Rating
The SXC Kolkata is a decent College. I was so unready when I came to this College for the first time but thankfully, my seniors and faculties made me feel so comfortable. I also like the fact that students societies here are such that each students has to contribute something for it. Academics part is taken seriously by the College and learning beyond classroom is taken care of by the College societies.

Academics Rating
I like my course so much as apart from Software Development, other topics and principles are also taught to us students. Being a Science student, I had plenty of options but I believe I have made the right choice. Intensive coursework sets the academic standards too high at this College. Complex computation problems are also there in our course and thus our academics involve in-depth research and project work as well. From Linear Algebra to Algorithms and Data Structures, everything is covered in our course.
Rs. 80,000/- per semester is our fees and it has stayed constant all 3 years. Discounts and Scholarship depends on criteria one chose to take admission from.

Faculty Rating
Faculties have vast experience that always helps students as they share not just their stories but many corporate stories too. Our course involves equal contribution of theory and practical and so our professors too urge each one of us to give equal attention to both. All the faculties have made us a lot to learn from and for that, one can only be grateful to them, as I am very grateful to them.

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell at the College. Placements of the College are excellent as McKinsey, Deloitte, and many other top companies participate in campus recruitment drives.

Hostel Rating
The College provides residential facilities but since I am part of hostels, I cannot comment much on it.

Infrastructure Rating
The College has a vibe, as there is greenery everywhere. A proper bakery is there and a huge auditorium which are among my favorite places in College. Sports ground and aesthetic British building with all the modern facilities inside them makes our College infrastructure really amazing.

Campus Rating
Campus life at the St. Xavier's College Kolkata is decent. Students can be part of societies and clubs to take part in extra-curricular activities. Festival celebrations and event organization are also part of the College that makes campus life much more exciting.
