The Bhopal School of Social Sciences B.Com Review By Palak Singh

My Experience with BSSS college has been good. College has each and every facility available for students. It has high cut off for admissions. Teachers are friendly and helpful, which helps a lot in progress of students. I got admission in B.Com, got great faculty and learning experience. They offer a lot of courses plus some additional certification courses like foreign languages and BEC. Students may continue these courses with their regular ones. Fees of BSSS college is definitely higher than other colleges in Bhopal, which I think can be lower. Other students from financial status cannot think about getting admission there even after getting high scores. So, fee is a major issue for students there.

There are different courses available here in this college. My course was B.com, for which they had different subject choices as well. You can choose your subjects as per your career plans. They guide you to prepare yourself for all interviews. They also polish your vocabulary skills and confidence. They also motivate student's hobbies through various cultural programs. They keep different competitions where students may showcase their skills. Also, for better guidance they arrange seminars within college and faculties of different colleges plus some entrepreneurs who share their experiences with students.

My faculty has always been helpful for me. They have guided me well and helped a lot whenever I had doubts. Teachers of BSSS, help in understanding the concepts of the course. Even other staff there, I found them cooperative. Teachers helped me to choose CA as my Career. They even helped with basics which were asked in CA exams.

BSSS has good placement history. My batch got good opportunities in their career and got placed in multinational companies. They arrange campus placement opportunities for students of various companies. However, I felt only few companies have participated in campuses. There could be more participation considering the reputation of college.

Since I am a localite so I don't have any personal experience of Hostel of BSSS. But I have visited there as my friends used to stay there. They have separate building for hostels of boys and girls. For them they have a canteen where they have sitting arrangement too. Apart from that, they have a swimming pool and separate sports area for students. As far as I know, my friends were satisfied with the hostel facilities of BSSS college.

Coming to infrastructure, it is one of the best amongst all Colleges. They have a separate building for library where a huge stock of books can be found. An entry in library is for students only, as they have to scan their ID cards to enter. In the same building they have computer lab for students providing enough space for a class. For College and hostel there are separate buildings so that students won't get confused, also to keep environmental peaceful. There are three canteens in total for students. There is a big swimming pool where they conduct many competitions for their students. Their basement is huge and has every facility provided to cater the needs of students. Talking about the parking, I think I never had a problem in parking my scooty there as they had enough space where we students and teachers, both can park our vehicles. For cultural events, it has a big ground with a huge stage where we used to attend many events and performances. Indeed, those memories were ravishing for me as a student.

BSSS has a large campus area for students. For vehicles it has a large parking area within college campus to keep them safe. Guards have been kept there for safety. Campus life of BSSS is disciplined. Wi-Fi is not available there for use. They have 2 canteens available there for students. So there is no issue for availability of food there. Sports ground are also available for sports activities. Ragging is not allowed there and seniors are quite helpful. Students may take help of staff specially appointed for ragging issues if anything happens. Students have to show ID cards to enter in college so that no outsider will enter there. It's a safe and secure campus with trees and lots of plants. Green environment keeps the mind peaceful and energetic.
