Exploring Campus Life in BSSS Bhopal

Overall Rating
I wish I don't make my review more informal as my College life has just ended at The Bhopal School of Social Science. The best things about my College were there was no partiality. There are many Colleges and private Universities in Bhopal but I can assure you this College which will tick all your boxes.
 

Academics Rating
The Academics were good. I was absolutely fascinated by the way academics were run at our College. Morning classes which ended before lunch and we were asked to enroll for CA, CFA or at least prepare for MBA. 80% of my classmates were doing the same. So, our academics provided us the real picture of what the world and corporate needs today.
The fees was around Rs. 40,000/- annually. A College of this caliber scores 10 on 10 when it comes to the affordability of the fees.
 

Faculty Rating
The only philosophy with which our faculties taught us was that students should have a complete understanding of what they are studying. Insurance Management being a specialised subject we had two core subjects related to it in the second year and the final year. Our faculties were specialised too and even guest faculties who have immense knowledge on that particular sector were invited to teach us the same. So our faculties make sure the students understand each topic twice or thrice until their doubts get clear.
 

Placement Rating
HDFC Life and ICIC Prudential are the two biggest MF Asset Management companies in India have hired 20-25 students from our batch. So placements were little scattered but at least they were there.
 

Hostel Rating
The Bhopal School of Social Science attracts a lot of outsiders. For security of girls, hostel is built inside the campus, I haven’t stayed in the hostel but apart from curfew restrictions none of friends complained about the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our College is quite big and there are two buildings and two separate canteens. When it comes to sports arena our College scores more than any private University in Bhopal. Our cricket ground is where many cricketers come for practicing as there are two proper turfs. There's a gym and a yoga room also. The campus also has Swimming pool and that too with proper male and female coaches and the timings are distributed accordingly.
 

Campus Rating
For day scholars it was like a morning ritual, as at 7:30 am we reached college and attend four lectures and went back. The College organise few events like Arth Aaveg, Abhisaran, and LCA, during these events we used to stay at the College till evening. The students took all the responsibilities of the events from organising to practicing. However, College backing and funds was there but students played a role in making it successful and College always have given the credit for the same.

    I think the popular course of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences is BCA and has one of the largest batches out of all the other courses. All the things required for best academics like the best faculties, best labs, or in short, the best academic infrastructure.     I am a third year student at the Bhopal School of Social Sciences and my experience here so far is good. I wanted to pursue BBA but as I applied late and the seats were full for BBA so I opted for B.Com (Economics). In the first semester my impression of the college was pretty good, it has large and beautiful campus with large ground for football and cricket, basketball court and swimming pool too.     It was mostly excellent experience. The faculty members were brilliant and approachable, with enough time for discussion and queries from everyone. The syllabus was well designed in itself. I got pretty broad foundation in Finance and Business principles. The best though would be the active participation with fellow students. One of the best UG colleges in Bhopal currently.... Honestly, I will say that it is worth getting admission into as you will get a lot of exposure here; the environment here is also good.     My Experience with BSSS college has been good. College has each and every facility available for students. It has high cut off for admissions. Teachers are friendly and helpful, which helps a lot in progress of students. I got admission in B.Com, got great faculty and learning experience. They offer a lot of courses plus some additional certification courses like foreign languages and BEC. Students may continue these courses with their regular ones.
