My experience of Presidency University, Bangalore

Overall Rating
I chose this college because it was easy for me to commute. I got in through KCET. The admission process was pretty smooth there were no complications. My experience till now has been good. The infrastructure is good. Teaching is also okay. If anybody is planning to join through management seat I would suggest you to look for better options.
 

Academics Rating
Academic wise the college is trying pretty hard to provide all the necessary needs for the students. They are trying to get the best faculty for all the branches. This year they have also joined some training company to get trainers for some particular subjects. These trainers have a very good idea about the outside world. By outside world I mean about all the hiring strategies of companies. They teach us useful things that help us during placements. Academic wise presidency is pretty good.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at presidency is very average I would say. There is some experienced faculty with a Ph.D. Except that most of them have newly joined. Teaching is not that bad. They provide all the necessary notes and finish the portions within time. They also provide other notes for reference if anybody is interested in learning more. The faculty is pretty friendly you can approach them whenever you want.
 

Placement Rating
Placement training begins from second semester. They start from aptitude training as that is the first round in the placements. They also have clubs which conduct placement training. The actual training for placement starts from 3rd year by the Placement Cell.
 

Hostel Rating
They have very good hostel facilities. I'm not a hosteler but what I've heard from my friends the hostel facilities is very good. The food is also very good according to them. They also have food fest every week in their hostels which I think is a very big plus point. The hostels are not inside the campus but the college has arranged transport for them from college to hostel and vice versa. Overall hostels at presidency are good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Firstly the campus of presidency university is huge. You will be mesmerized by all the greenery that's present. Infrastructure is also beautiful. There is a lot of empty space available to spend your leisure time. The main cafeteria is very big, it's of two floors and the food is also pretty good. Throughout the campus there are many stalls for food which sell snacks and food at very affordable rates. There is a huge library with a very good collection of books.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is kind of average. Only best part is that there are a lot of hangout places inside the college. But outside not many. Since the college is situated in the outskirts of the city the options are very limited. There are no proper facilities for local transport in that area too. But the college has arranged transport from rajankunte to college which is a nice thing. The crowd is very huge. Since the campus is huge the crowd is also huge so it's not a big deal.

    First of all, I chose Presidency University due to peaceful surroundings, infrastructure, and heard some good things from alumni of university.
