North Eastern Hill University is a great institution for higher education. The campus is well-maintained and has a good infrastructure. The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum is up-to-date and includes all the recent developments in the field. The Placement Cell is active and provides good opportunities to students. The college also has a good campus life with various clubs and societies. Overall, NEHU is a great choice for students looking for a quality education and a good college experience.

North Eastern Hill University provides multiple courses like Bachelor and Masters in Technology which can be pursued through getting admission into the college via JEE MAINS or through By lateral entry. It also provides courses like MBA, MCA, LLB, B.Arch, BCA, BA, MA, etc. One can enter into this college for pursuing its degree in the desired course.

The faculty team is highly cooperative and friendly in nature, they have a very positive attitude while teaching and a good ability to make learning easier. They are highly qualified and their contribution towards this learning department is unrealistic. The faculty also shows great response towards the ideas of research from the learners.

The placement of this college is doubted yet it’s not a matter of problem as the graduates get a good placement in a company from their department. It has also been seen that the graduates have got up to 15 LPA from IT department.

North Eastern Hill University provides more than 22 hostels for students to reside. The most interesting thing about this hostels are that in a single hostel the same year of students live and they don't get ragged by their seniors as neither the seniors nor any family member or any other person is allowed to enter in the hostel. The hostel mess food is also very healthy and they also get refreshment during evening. The mess fees and hostel fees is also budget friendly.

The college is very big in structure, it is of 1225 acres and has many big infrastructures for the students for them to get quality of education. It also provides buildings for each and every department which has all the facilities and equipments and it also accommodates a lot of students in it. For leisure time it also has a science park available for students.

Life in North Eastern Hill University is just like a story book which is beautiful, but to understand this college one has to read it understands it. This college has a beautiful campus yet and a smooth weather as it is situated in Shillong. The college provides many clubs to enlist yourself and show cast your skills. It also has many fests like DJ night parts, Masquarade Party, The Varsity Fest, etc.
