My Review of LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Thiruvananthapuram

Overall Rating
LBS is the best engineering college for women in the state. I chose this institution because many students get placement here to different companies like Technopark, Infosys, TCS, CTS, JP Morgan, etc. The college infrastructure is also very good. There 15 labs in the college. Hostel and canteen facilities are also available. Therefore I recommend this college to other students.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility for this course is you have to take either computer science or bio maths in class 12th and also clear the KEAM exam conducted state government to get admission to this course. You have to pass the KEAM exam. The KEAM exam is conducted offline. A pen paper test exam will be conducted.
 

Faculty Rating
There are 96 faculty members in the college. 1:16 is the faculty student ratio. All the faculty members are highly qualified. They are M.Tech, ME, and Ph.D holders. They have best teaching experience. They help us so much to study and they are friendly. We have qualified teachers who teach us very well. We can ask doubt at any time.
 

Placement Rating
Many companies visit our college during last semester to conduct placements. Many companies like Technopark, UST Global, Infosys, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. visit our college every year. More than 90% students get placement to best companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, college hostel is present inside the campus. A hostel warden is also present in the hostel. Good quality food is provided in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have good infrastructure available in our course. There are 15 labs. College canteen, college hostel is also present. No Wi-Fi facility is available in our campus. We have furnished classrooms with projectors. Library is also present. Gym facility is also present. Computer labs also have good facilities.
 

Campus Rating
I recommend this college to other students. There tech fest conducted by the campus every year. A fest is organised every year called Yagna Dhruva. There are many other events conducted every year. Prayag is conducted that is intercollege tech fest. Now VISAT is launched by our college. That is a proud moment for us.

    LBSITW Thiruvananthapuram is a decent Institute if you are serious about your academics and personal growth. The rules are strict in the first year and Institute has strict attendance policy.
