But if you take initiative, you will find good mentors, supportive tech communities, and decent opportunities. Campus life depends on how involved you get. Not the most chill Institute, but definitely a place where you can build something meaningful. What makes it standout is its active tech communities like GDG, Tinkerhub, etc.

The Institute is one of the better options for women who want to pursue Engineering in Kerala. It has its own pros and cons, and whether its right for you really depends on what you are looking for. Basically, this is a decent Institute if you are serious about your academics and personal growth. The environment is strict, especially for first year, and attendance rules can feel a bit School-like. But if you take initiative, you will find good mentors, supportive tech communities and decent opportunities. Campus life depends on how involved you get. Joined this Institute through management seat. The total fee is Rs. 70,000/-. No fee waivers, but scholarships like E-Grantz are available. Overall affordable compared to other private Colleges.

The faculty at LBSITW Thiruvananthapuram is experienced and knowledgeable especially in the IT department. Most professors hold M.Tech degrees. They teach using mix of blackboards, PPTs, and discussions. They are approachable and helpful, especially during lab sessions and projects. The teacher-student ratio is reasonable and support is available if you ask for it. Some are strict, but if you are genuinely interested, they will guide you well both academically and beyond the classroom. If you have your own project ideas they will genuinely encourage and guide you.

The Institute has a dedicated placement cell that supports students through resume workshops, mock interviews, and training sessions. Companies like TCS, Infosys, UST Global, and IBS often visit the campus. The average package is around 3 LPA to 4 LPA, with the highest going above 7 LPA in recent years. The placement cell is helpful, but students need to put in their own effort too. Overall, decent opportunities if you are prepared and proactive.

Our Institute hostel is pretty decent. Rooms are usually shared by 2 to 6 students and facilities like Wi-Fi, Study desks, common areas and clean washrooms are provided. The mess serves good food three times a day, its hygienic but can get boring over time. Hostel fees is about Rs. 14,000/- per Sem, including food. Phones are allowed, which is a big plus. Hostel rules are a bit strict, like 6:30 PM last entry and limited outings but overall safe.

Our Institute have separate blocks for each department. The campus is small as compared to other Colleges but yes we can adjust. It is located in a peaceful area of Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram. Classrooms are spacious, can seat around 67 students and have projectors. We have well-equipped labs, good library, and seminar halls. Thers is a canteen, sick room, and reliable security. Overall, the infrastructure supports student growth. My favourite part is the common ground where we can hangout in breaks. For IT student like me the computer labs and seminar halls enhance academic learning and encourage project presentation and real time experimentation.

Campus life at our Institute is lively and full of opportunities. The crowd is supportive, and many clubs like GDG, TinkerHub, and NSS actively involve students in events and workshops. Fest like Tech fest, Onam celebration, Freshers and arts day are major highlights. I am part of GDG club and through this club, I have gained great experience beyond academics. Its a vibrant and growth filled environment for students.
