Overall Rating
I am a 4th year student of Maharana Institute of Professional Studies pursuing B.Tech from Computer Science and Engineering. The fees structure of this college is very less and they have good infrastructure facilities as well as they offer great opportunities to the students for placement. College has everything from infrastructure to academic and if you want to do B.Tech at a very cheap price you can go for this college.
 

Academics Rating
This college is academically not that good as it appears because there is no communication between teachers and placement staff at academic level. They always ask us for fine for each and every activity. If you are able to pass all your subject by your own then only you can go for this college else don't considerate it. There is one teacher for more than two or three subjects and they also not educated in their respective domain.
 

Faculty Rating
There are very limited faculties. Few faculties teach more than two subjects in each semester. There are many faculties who don't teach anything but will mark you absent without any reason and you cannot oppose them. There are teachers who just scroll the projector on the name of lecture and will teach you nothing.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell. But our Placement Cell is not at all supportive. There is no communication between placement and other cells like exam or academic cells. We face a lot of problems regarding our academics which can be solved by Placement Cell. There is very little company that visits in our campus and the last number of companies is of sales.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a hostel facility in our institute but if you want to live in hostel just for 1 year because they have a separate hostel for 2nd year, 3rd year, and 4th year students. Except first year hostel, other hostels are not up to the mark. The fees of hostel are about 85000 per year and the quality of food is not up to the mark. Many times we got worms in our plate during food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of our college is one of the major reasons why large number of students takes admission here. I was also impressed by the infrastructure facility like cricket stadium, badminton court, and basketball ground. It consists of total 12 buildings. Each of them is of different use. The infrastructure facilities are up to the mark and it can surely mesmerise you and convince you to take admission here.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very good in our college. We have celebrations for each of the festivals here. Supportive staff, good friends, and professional seniors are always there for us for help. There is no problem of ragging in our college because 1st year hostel is being separated from the rest. Overall if you are looking good college within budget then you can go for this college and if you have good background then you must go for PSIT Kanpur College.
