Affordable Fees and Good Placements at MIPS Kanpur

Overall Rating
Factors that made me to take admission in MIPS Kanpur are its fees and placement offers. It is affordable and gives good placement offers with good faculty members and a warm environment. Also it is close to my home town. Whenever I want to go home I can easily go from hostel with some formality and permission.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have is B.Tech CSE with AIML. The requirement for admission in this Institute is that you should have good marks in 12th Class. And to take admission in B.Tech you should have Science stream in 12th Class. The admission process is very smooth, and you can directly take admission on the basis of marks in 12th Class or by counseling in JEE Mains or CUET examination. The course contains 8 semesters, 2 semesters per year, and internal exams are also conducted in the class.
The fee of my course is Rs. 1,32,500 per year. Also Rs. 7,500 is AKTU registration fees. The discount of Rs. 10,000 can be given to you if you take admission within a given date by the Institute. Also scholarships are provided to the needy or eligible students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very helpful to students. They provide all their knowledge and help them in getting good jobs and placements. They teach students morals of life. They teach using whiteboard and projector. Also lab sessions are conducted to do practicals of what we learn. The bonding of students and teachers is good. The teacher always helps students when required.
 

Placement Rating
The placement in MIPS Kanpur is also good. Companies like Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Vivnovation, Infosys, Amazon, etc. come to the campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute has hostels with basic living amenities. Hostel fee is Rs. 80,000/-.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has many blocks for different courses like B.Pharm, D.Pharma, Ayurveda, MPCP, and N block for B.Tech, BCA, BBA, and MBA students. There is a library in every block. Students can get 3 books at one time and have to renew or return books after 30 days. Also there are different canteens for different food types within campus. Medical facilities are also available in the campus and a hospital too.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience in the campus is good. There is a club named Abhyudaya club which organises activities in Institute and hostel. Events in Institute occur at times like New Year fest and Dusshera fest. Also sports event like MPL and hostel cricket league are conducted. Everyone can take part in these activities as per your interest. Recently tech fest and literacy fest were held.
