I have more interest in doing government job in the technical domain so I choose the civil engineering and decided to pursue it from the faculty of technology and engineering Maharaja Sayajiro University of Baroda because it is top government college in Gujarat. It is most renowned institute of Gujarat. It is having NAAC grade AA++.

To get the admission in faculty of technology and engineering of Maharaja Sayajiro University of Baroda, the candidate should get good marks in board as well as in GUJCET exam. GUJCET means Gujarat Common Entrance Test which is conducted by Gujarat board. From board exam and from GUJCET exam 50 % marks counted and merit list will be prepared.

The faculty member of faculty of technology and engineering Maharaja Sayajiro University of Baroda is well renowned and well qualified. Most faculty members are qualified from NIT or IITs. The teaching style of faculty are unique and the students’ teachers’ ratio is 3:60 for complete subject. In the course there were 8 semester.

Yes, we have Training and Placement Cell of faculty of technology and engineering which provides the good placement to the students of faculty. Many reputed companies, every year visited college to recruit the students. The average placement of our branch is 5 lakhs and the highest package of our college is 10 lakhs. The computer science branch got 30 lakhs which was highest package offers in our college. The total students placed were 520 out of 720 students. In civil engineering branch around 60 to 70% students got placement.

Yes, in our university the special residents’ hub as hostel is present for different departments or course. The infrastructure of the hostel is so good, only problem in mess food. There is also availability of samaras hostel which provides free food and hostel facility. The samaras hostel is government hostel which will get through merit list. There are many other hostels present in college some owns by University and other owns by government. Many inter hostel sports are present like volleyball, chess, ludo, etc.

The campus of faculty of technology and engineering Maharaja Sayajiro University of Baroda also know as ( kala bhavan ). The campus is so good and well structured. The most part of the campus is green. There is also separate parking provided for students and faculty. There is also library which is known as TK GAJJAR library and the university has Asia's largest library. There are many journals also present in our library.

The campus life is so good. In college we have total 5 to 6 fest which are organised by our college students. There are many technical or non technical fest. The main technical fest is foot print and the Reran is the Asia's largest physical handicapped cultural fest and Junoon fest provides sports facilities to the faculty students. Over all very good environment. Many celebrities, singers, politicians, etc. also came to our college.
