First of all I came to this college through WBJEE (WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) rank that was 25411. The college is not so far from my home. So I choose this college to do my engineering and I had heard good reviews from my relative who had passed out from this college information technology department. If you have average WBJEE rank you can select this college in WBJEE counselling to do your engineering, college campus is quite good. Faculties are also good and the main thing is if you are a sportsperson I recommend you to join this college, because CEMK has a different sports environment. Computer Science Department has a different vibe in this college. Placement of the college is not bad also, average package 6 LPA. So you are thinking about joining this college, join it.

The college is under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). If you do B.Tech in CEMK you will get your degree from this MAKAUT university. The academic environment of CEMK is too good. CEMK has WORKSHOP for mechanical department and for 1st year student having this topic, physics lab, chemistry lab, BEE (Basic Electrical Engineering) lab, IT workshop, operating system lab, computer lab, lab for digital electronics etc. They follow a proper schedule in daily class routine. You will be studied under Director sir himself. In a word academic of CEMK is good enough for your career.

Except few teachers and lab assistants the faculty of CEMK is good and student friendly. They will teach you every topic in a different understandable way. Director sir and registrar sir also take classes to know about the students. But few lab teachers are not student friendly type. Except them other faculty members are good. If you want to learn extra core skills they will teach you personally to achieve them. And few teachers are very strict about their student’s career.

CEMK provide on campus placement. Placement rate and average package of CEMK is good also. Placement rate is around 92% and average package of CEMK is around 6 LPA. The placement rate of Computer Science Department is very good and this year it is increased. So don't think about placement, if you are quite serious in your study you will definitely be placed in good companies from this college.

CEMK has 6 hostels for boys, 1 hostel for 1st year students, 1 hostel for 2nd year students and 2 hostels each for 3rd and 4th year students and a girl’s hostel for girls. The hostels are clean and well maintained. Wardens are strict, alcohol is strictly prohibited. Quality of food given in mess is good also. Water purifiers are there to provide purified water, all time electricity support by WBPDCL and LAN connections in each hostel room.

College has an administrative building for all office work and an academic building for all academic work and classroom. Academic building is large enough; all labs, classrooms, and workshops are there. The library of the college is very big and contains all type of book needs for your academic journey and if not available you can get it by telling librarians. College has a large cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, volleyball ground, and net for cricket practice. Infrastructure of CEMK is very good.

The campus of CEMK is ragging free. Campus is large enough. Life if CEMK is like heaven. You will understand it after finishing your academic journey from CEMK. Sports of CEMK has a different level, if you are sportsperson must join this college, if you played well entire college will respect you. In ground there's a beautiful bond between seniors and juniors. Jhilpar of CEMK is an interesting place. Departmental sports and Annual sports meet ATHLEEMA has a different vibe. You will see your college in a different level during college fest time. Technical fest of CEMK called "RESONANCE" and cultural fest called "SPANDAN". In RESONANCE coding event, quiz event, debug event, robotics, and all technical events are there. You can participate in them and showcase your skills. In a single word the life of CEMK is like heaven.
