Overall Rating
I didn't get the IITs and NITs through JEE Mains Rank. So I decided to take admission through WBJEE Rank in West Bengal in which I secured 10544 Rank. Through Counselling I got Information Technology Branch in Haldia Institute of Technology. IT Branch in our college is excellent as it provides many extra opportunities for many students to exercise their tech skills. There are many Tech societies and NGOs in our college which makes our college superior.
 

Academics Rating
Currently I am pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology. Admission is on the Basis of WBJEE Rank and JEE Main Rank. One must have 60% marks in 10th and 12th. Admission is through WBJEE counseling. For CSE Branch in our College WBJEE Rank closed at 6000. For IT 12000 and the last rank for admission in our college is 40000.
 

Faculty Rating
All the Faculty in our College is well trained as most of them are Ph.D holders and many of them NET Qualified. Some faculty has completed their Masters from Foreign Universities. Many teachers belong from West Bengal only. They teach in excellent way so that every individual can understand. They communicate in English only so that one individual is ready and well trained in English speaking which will help them for their placement.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, We have a Training and Placement Cell in our College. Every year almost 95-98% Students gets placed in several companies.
 

Hostel Rating
We have total 11 hostels in our College. 8 Hostels for Boys and 3 Hostels for Girls. First Year students’ hostel is outside the campus for their safety reasons. Every hostel has own Mess and Playground.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Haldia Institute of Technology has largest campus area in West Bengal in private category. Infrastructure is excellent as it has one main building where all classes taken. And one Aryabhatta Central Library which is the Largest Library in India as it has the capacity of 100000 Books. Our College has its own gym, one basketball ground, two cricket and football grounds, and one indoor game.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life of our college is mind blowing as our college has 15-20 clubs which are necessary for skill development. Various Clubs of several domains are available in our college. Over 25000+ alumni network is in our colleges which are giving their best in several companies. We have mainly two fests Prayukti and Rivera. Prayukti is Tech Fest and Rivera is Cultural Fest which occurs in the months of February and March.

    I gave JEE Mains and couldn't make it into any IIT/NIT then I gave WBJEE and got this college. Campus is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Canteen, gym, and library everything is too good. Overall, it's a good college. There are many clubs and societies which will help you in your personal growth.     I have been admitted in this college in 2023 in CSE department. My WBJEE rank 4450. With this rank I choose this college because of it's being an oldest institution with great alumni network.     I got admission into the ECE branch in Haldia Institute of Technology through the WBJEE rank of around 24,000. Currently I'm in the first year so the overall experience is good.     My experience at the institute was very good. Overall, it is a very good platform for pursuing studies and extra activities like project making, car designing, and other sports activities are also conducted. All types of activities are held in the institute; you can play cricket, football, basketball, badminton and all others indoor and outdoor games in the institute and you will get gym facility as well....
