Review of Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur

Overall Rating
It is Jain minority College. If you are Jain you will get admission with low score. There also privilege to SC, ST, and other caste. If your father's income is less than 8 lakhs College fees are approx. 65 thousand else you have to pay approx. 1 lakh 10 thousand. And for SC ST college fees is approx. 20 thousand. For this you have to apply scholarship.
 

Academics Rating
This college Provides Computer Science, IT, ENTC, ECE (Electronics and Computer Engineering), Mechanical, Civil, etc. The admission in WIT is on the basis of JEE mains marks and MHTCET marks. This College focuses really on academics (Like a Old School).
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are highly graduated but the problem is that they make easy things to complex. They teach on the blackboard with chalk. There are projectors but not present in every room. Don’t expect that they will teach you extraordinary.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It is not big college as seen by land. As you entered in the college you will get too see a big and well polish building which is main building but don't be amazed with this there also another building at the backside which is really worst. In the Main building there is lift but it can access only by teachers. In 1st year you have to study in worst building.
 

Campus Rating
Here Campus life is all about academics no greater extend of sports not even interesting Fest. The one good part of the college is we come to know about various cultures and get to know how to be happy with tremendous amount of academic struggle.

    Walchand Institute of Technology is the best college in Solapur with NAAC grade of A+. Since I wanted to study in Solapur and not outside , therefore I chose this college. Everyone who wants to study in Solapur, there first preference should be WIT. This Institute is autonomous and conducts every exam by themselves and students get enough time to study....     This college is the best college located in Solapur district. And it ranks at 55th college in Maharashtra for engineering courses. The courses offered here are Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering.
