Overall Rating
Walchand Institute of Technology is an autonomous institute and one of the best college in the region. Institute offers 9 UG and 5 PG programs which are approved by AICTE. Overall placement is also really impressive which led me to choose this institute. All the facilities are experienced and help in academic enhancement.
 

Academics Rating
The merits are based on the branches as for electronics and telecommunication you need at least 78+ percentile in MHT-CET. Electronic and Telecommunication can help in both IT sector and core field for your career. The course also needs your interest. It is also a diverse field which can help you in building career at other fields.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is really experienced and helps students whenever they needed. They encourage students to participate in events and programs that are conducted in the institute. Most of the faculty belongs to engineering field so they know the problems faced by students in pursuing degree. They guide the students whenever possible.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the institute has Placement Cell which provides internship opportunities for the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Walchand Institute of Technology has best infrastructure in the region. It has different centre hall to conduct different events at a time. Library of institute is one of the biggest libraries in the city it has all types of both academic and literature collection. Library has big reading rooms and silence is maintained strictly.
 

Campus Rating
In Walchand Institute of Technology, annually various festivals are celebrated and some of the big events are annual gathering, sports weekend, and traditional day. Sports teams are distributed among the all branches. Annual gathering is celebrated at a large level and students are participated in large group.

    Walchand Institute of Technology is the best college in Solapur with NAAC grade of A+. Since I wanted to study in Solapur and not outside , therefore I chose this college. Everyone who wants to study in Solapur, there first preference should be WIT. This Institute is autonomous and conducts every exam by themselves and students get enough time to study....     It is Jain minority College. If you are Jain you will get admission with low score. There also privilege to SC, ST, and other caste. If your father's income is less than 8 lakhs College fees are approx. 65 thousand else you have to pay approx. 1 lakh 10 thousand. And for SC ST college fees is approx. 20 thousand.     This college is the best college located in Solapur district. And it ranks at 55th college in Maharashtra for engineering courses. The courses offered here are Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering.
