Actual Reality of Walchnd Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
I got the admission in Walchand Institute of Technology in 2022 in the Electronics and Telecommunication Department. The college has a great and big campus which includes classrooms, labs, conference halls, workshops, sports grounds, and hostel.
 

Academics Rating
My course is B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication. I got seat allotment through government quota. I got admission through the MHT CET exam and the cutoff percentile for the ENTC department in 2022 was 77 percentile. I had 82 percentile so I got the admission. The college has very highly educated and experienced faculties who help their student and motivate them in their tough times.
 

Faculty Rating
There are a total of 95 faculties in all the departments. Each and every faculty is very highly qualified as a Ph.D and are very experienced. These faculties know how to teach the student in the right way which will enhance their confidence and get them ready to solve day-to-day real-life problems. All the faculties teach their respective subject in a unique way, these things help the student to understand the topics in easy manner.
 

Placement Rating
There is a respective placement cell for each department which has a great network with the corporate companies. Every year minimum of 75 percent of student get placed in every department. The corporate company want their employees to be ready for the corporate world which they get in this college.
 

Hostel Rating
There are mainly two hostels in the institute which are located inside the campus. The boys and girls hostel are two separate hostels which help girls students to feel safe in the accommodation. The hostel includes all the basic facilities which are needed by the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is located in the main part of the city and it has a separate building for every department. There is a great and big library which is located inside the campus. The library has all the books which you will need to help the students make their concepts better and it is free of cost. You can get a membership of the library free of cost. The college has its own solar power plant situated on the terrace of every building which is a renewable source of energy.
 

Campus Rating
The institute organises many tech and non-tech events every year for the students. The institute has its own cultural fest named as ATHARVA which is held in the month of January every year. The fest is a 10-day long event which includes many performances, and fashion shows.

    Walchand Institute of Technology is the best college in Solapur with NAAC grade of A+. Since I wanted to study in Solapur and not outside , therefore I chose this college. Everyone who wants to study in Solapur, there first preference should be WIT. This Institute is autonomous and conducts every exam by themselves and students get enough time to study....     It is Jain minority College. If you are Jain you will get admission with low score. There also privilege to SC, ST, and other caste. If your father's income is less than 8 lakhs College fees are approx. 65 thousand else you have to pay approx. 1 lakh 10 thousand. And for SC ST college fees is approx. 20 thousand.     This college is the best college located in Solapur district. And it ranks at 55th college in Maharashtra for engineering courses. The courses offered here are Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering.
