Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET), it is in Durgapur, West Bengal. Our college offered many courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, BBA, MBA, etc. In B.Tech there are many branches like CSE, IT, Civil, Mechanical, ECE, EE, and AIML etc. This college is good for middle class family student who can't afford to take admission in big college because the fee structure is very low i.e., 370000 for 4 years of B.Tech course in CSE department.

Courses like B.Tech, BCA, BBA and MBA are available here. Admissions are made on the basis of JEE mains and WBJEE. Direct entry is also available for students. Placement is good in the college. Average package is 6-7 LPA. Fees are also very affordable that is 370000 for B.Tech course.

Most of faculty is highly educated and well experienced. They have done Ph.D and M.Tech in their respective field but many teachers are inexperienced. Teachers of our college very supportive and helpful. They help student in every field like academics and extracurricular activities also. They help us in completing our assignments and projects. They also help us in getting internships and they motivate us for being positive.

Placement record of our college is very good. Many big tech companies like TCS, WIPRO, CGI, COGNIZANT etc and many startup companies came in our college for campus recruitment. Last year, student get highest package of 1200000 and lowest package is 250000, and the average package of college is between 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh per annum which is very good according to the fee of course.

Hostel life is awesome in BCET. There are four blocks of building. 3 blocks are interconnected for 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year student and one block is totally separated for 1st year student. In hostel all rooms are of double bed in which all the basic requirements for students are available and washrooms are common for students. In hostel food is provided 4 times a day and fruits in breakfast. Food quality is not so much good, it is ok type you can eat it. Hostel fee is 30000 per semester.

Infrastructure of our college is not so good. In college there are separate buildings for different department like CSE block, ME & CE block, CORE block, etc. But teaching method is old; infrastructure of class is old like they use chalk and black board in class. Labs are also not up to the mark. There is a very big auditorium in our college which needs renovation all the functions are organised in this auditorium. There is a small seminar hall also in which all small functions like club events and many more are organised.

Campus life in BCET is awesome. Our campus is not so big but amazing. There is cricket and football ground in the centre of campus. A volleyball court and a basketball court are also present in the college. There are many clubs in our college like EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Cell), Code Vision, Cyber Cell, Robotics, NSS and more. All clubs organise their events in different months. There is also a sport events organised every year which is known as Athleka in which all track and field games are played. Every year college organise many events like fest, foundation day, saraswati puja, vishwakarma puja etc.
