First of all, when I finished my schooling, I was searching for a reputed college, and then I got into this college after knowing that it is known for 75 years of excellence and has good reputation among people. It is one of the best colleges in India and several people from other states are coming here to pursue their higher studies. It was a wonderful experience for me to pursue my UG degree in this college with wonderful surroundings and atmosphere and also this college has the best placement crew in Coimbatore. I will refer my friends and family to keep this college as their first choice.

I am studying B.Sc Visual communication (Electronic Media) course. The eligibility for this course is to get above 60% of marks in your 12th standard in any streams. If you are very interested in cinema and media related fields, then you can go with this course. It will help you a lot in gaining both theoretical and practical knowledge.

There are more than 15 faculty members in this department and most of them have completed Ph.D in certain fields. Every staff member will be very friendly and you can ask your doubts with anyone of them without any hesitation. Even they will help you to get internships program for your career and even some faculty members will recommend some jobs to you. Every teacher will teach the lessons in very easy and understandable way with lots of practical methods.

This is one of the biggest colleges in Tamil Nadu. It has 8+ blocks and mine is A block. In entire college, visual communication department has the best infrastructure because it has more than 150+ IMAC systems for students, one separate studio floor for indoor shooting, protocol room and audio booth, more than 10+ Sony Alpha cameras for cinematography and 30+ Canon cameras for photography and several other equipment to gain practical knowledge and each of this equipment can be accessed easily.

This college has 14500+ students, 600+ teaching staffs and 150+ non teaching staffs. Every semester there are cultural events for both aided and self-financed streams and a common function for Pongal festival will also be conducted. There are many other clubs like drama club, music club, NCC, NSS for the students to engage them with other extracurricular activities.
