Overall Rating
The experience at this Institute is unforgettable. You will make friends for life. Campus placements are also very good as compared to others. Fee structure is very low as compared to knowledge and experience you get here. There are so many clubs and societies. This is a very renowned Institute that was started in 1949 and is very popular. You'll get a life changing experience here. Sports events are regularly conducted events and tech fests are also happening.

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech (Civil Engineering) course that is of 4 years and it was quite nice. Students attend classes regularly and professors are very supportive. There are 2 semesters in a year, which means total 8 semesters in 4 years. The eligibility to get into this Institute is that you need to clear JEE Main examination. In addition, after the document verification process, the candidate successfully secured admission in this Institute. In addition, the academics here prepare you for upcoming life challenges makes you prepared to face hardships and challenges and to be above them.
The fee structure for all the departments was almost same. Scholarship is provided to SC, ST & OBC category students. BITSAA Bermo Chapter Scholarship is also there for economically weak students.

Faculty Rating
The faculty members were so nice and supportive there. They are ready to help you anytime. They provide adequate notes along with demonstration. They conduct regular classes and practicals. Their problem solving ability makes them far better from other Institutes they also try to engage with students and interact productively. Through PPTs, discussion interactive sessions. Most of them have doctorate degree and are very down to earth. They help and guide you through your final year projects also.

Placement Rating
There is a Training & Placement Cell in the Institute, which is very active about placements in the Institute. The Institute has a very promising placement scenario. Placement Committee consists of member from each department in that Cell and a professor who is very particular assigned for placements. He also guides us through every highs and lows. Big companies visit for recruitment like ITC, TATA, Adani, YAMAHA, Samsung, TCS, and others.

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are separate boys’ and girls’ hostels at the Birsa Institute of Technology Dhanbad. There is mess that serves good food.

Infrastructure Rating
There are different buildings for each department and all are huge. The campus is very beautiful full of lush greenery. It also has a library which is huge it has a cafeteria and a Nescafe stall also people use to spend a lot of time there. It also has a big sports ground. In addition, there is a lecture hall & a beautiful auditorium. There are so many places to hang out and just outside the Institute. We have some outstanding street food stalls at BIT Sindri.

Campus Rating
Overall campus life I can guarantee is superb. You'll have the best four years of your life here. Just one important advice that you get an additional edge if you are part of any club or societies. Because you get to meet new people apart from your branch and that helps a lot to build communication skills. You get to organise events and fests. I was a part of the Technical society. The Institute conducts many events and technical fest called Tech Mahotsav and I was the editor in chief and served as a content writer.

It has a wide spread campus of around 450 acres with a green environment and students accommodate in hostels which increases their social interactions. Honestly, when we talk about mess food we all know how it's going to be but here it's quite decent with changes when necessary. The teachers are very friendly here and will help you with any doubt whether its s... Read Full Review
